Has it really been that long?! The 8th of September marks the day that the Pokemon anime first started airing in the US. Since then, there have been different theme songs, characters and even voice actors. But Pokemon is still going strong, with 17 seasons, 17 movies and over 850 episodes, far more than even The Simpsons. Plus Ash and Pikachu haven’t aged a day!
Happy 16th anniversary Pokemon anime, may you continue forever! …and may Ash one day, finally, maybe beat the Pokemon League?
