Japanese magazine Famitsu has confirmed that in the first 3 days, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire sold 1.5 million units in Japan and 3.04 million worldwide (excluding Europe, where the games are to be released tomorrow, November 28th).
In comparison, X and Y sold 4 million units worldwide in the first 2 days (2 million in Japan). Considering, ORAS are yet to be released in Europe, this number is pretty high, especially for a remake! It’s great to know that Pokemon is still so popular around the world!
