Nintendo Australia are holding the combined 2015 Pokemon Video Game and Pokemon Trading Card Game National Championships over this weekend (June 6th to 8th). This year, the event is at the Melbourne Park Function Centre, Batman Avenue, Melbourne.
Players will have the chance to earn Championship Points which may earn them a place to compete in the World Championships in Boston, USA. The event is split over three days.
Saturday: Qualifying rounds for TCG and registration for the VGC competition
Sunday: Qualifying rounds for the VGC
Monday: Finals for both TCG and VGC
Nintendo have promised “a host of exciting activities will complement the main event”, so even if you’re not competing, it’s a great place to meet other Pokemon fans, watch some great battles and get lots of Street Passes!
