This month’s CoroCoro leaks show images from teaser trailer for the next Pokemon movie. These images are from the trailer that plays at the end of the Hoopa and the Clash of Ages movie that will be playing starting on July 18th.
The image features a silhouette that looks like no Pokemon that we currently know of. It is being speculated that Zygarde will be featured in this movie due to it being the only known Kalos Legendary Pokemon to not be featured in a movie. There are Ground type attacks that are programmed into Pokemon XY called Thousand Arrows and Thousand Waves. This is similar to Kyurem who also had two unique moves that were later introduced upon the reveal of his new forms.
Volcanion is another Pokemon to be speculated to have a role in the next movie. It hasn’t been officially revealed but it would follow the same pattern as the previous two Mystical Pokemon: Diancie and Hoopa.
It is most likely that this silhouette image could be a different form of either Zygarde or Volcanion.
One last thing to note is that images from the teaser trailer rarely make it into the final cut of the movie. It isn’t certain that this scene will make it into the new movie but it looks like we may see a new form or even a new Pokemon in next year’s Pokemon movie.
The tentative title for this movie is Pokémon the Movie XY 3 and it will be released in 2016.
