It’s Tuesday which means it’s time for Crossroads Comics!
This week we’re taking a look at another ask blog, Crewel Intentions. The story follows Yuko Akiyama, a former Team Rocket Executive that worked on establishing the organization on the Hoenn region, and her partner, Crewel the Banette. After having been arrested, Yuko was forced to release her team, with the exception of Crewel who refused to be rehomed. Now the two do service work at an adoption center in the Hoenn region, where they help take care of and rehome other Pokémon.
This is another ask blog that I binged through rather quickly. The backstory behind these two is really quite interesting, especially seeing as they both recognize their past actions were wrong. Yet, due to their age, they realize there’s little they can do about it and have resolved to live in peace for the rest of their days. Crewel is especially interesting given his usual laid back demeanor. They both have very interesting and unique designs, as well as character arcs due to the blog’s fairly long existence. It’s a cute and very interesting concept for a blog that I highly recommend!
