It’s Tuesday which means it’s time for Crossroads Comics!
This week we’re taking a look at PMD: Saga. A PMD sprite comic that has been going on for many years, it’s one of the oldest comics that I have followed on SmackJeeves. While it is mostly a sprite based comic, there are interludes of digitally drawn art in the later chapters and the action sequences definitely are not limited by the sprite aspect of things. It follows the tradition PMD: Red and Blue plot line at the beginning, however as the story progresses, it diverges with unique plot points and interesting character development for the entire cast. Sadly, the story is drawing to a close soon, with a sequel, PMD Saga: Temporal Shadows on the horizon. Either way, if you’ve got the time, this is an excellent read that I would highly recommend. It’s funny, filled with action and unique characters, and overall just a worthwhile read.
