Happy anniversary to One Piece!
Last week was the 20th anniversary for One Piece! This pirate manga has been around for twenty years now and is huge in Japan. It is almost as big as Pokemon when it comes to fame. So in honor of One Piece turning twenty, we are going to showcase some fantastic fanart involving One Piece and Pokemon!
The first piece of art that you can see is above which features Chopper and Pikachu. Both of characters have a few things in common. They are both mascots for their respective series. Both characters are adorable. Lastly, they are both voiced by the same actress: Ikue Ōtani.
This piece is by em_t who decided to have Pikachu mimic Chopper’s famous hiding pose. They both look so adorable together. I wonder if they pair have realize that they have been spotted. Either way, they look great together!
Above we have a piece by 如月りでる . They have drawn each Straw Hat Pirate with an Eeveeultion. I think they did a great job in pairing up a member of the crew with an Eeveeultion. You have Nami with Vaporeon who deals with rain. That is something that Nami is famous for creating. Sanji is hanging out with Flareon who shares his fiery personality. Espeon is perfect for Robin because they both seem so smart and mysterious.
Now lets focus on some side characters! This piece was made by ARAN where they drew Perona with some Gothic fashions.
They drew Perona in her time skip costume which is Gothic Lolita inspired. That makes her perfect to hang out with the Gothitelle line. They both seem to share the same fashion sense. Who knew that looking black and white looked so good? They certainly look great in the piece above.
In this piece we have something from aba that featuring Law and Croagunk. Did you knew that the two together could look so cool? Law has always been a fan favorite among One Piece fans. It also looks like Croagunk has a following as well. It is only natural that you put the two together!

Lastly, we have a piece by RinriN✿ featuring Doflamingo and Clefairy.
Who knew that all it took to make Clefairy scary was to give it a pair of sunglasses. These guys don’t care what day it is because they are going to wear pink no matter what! The artist did a great job in making Clefairy and Doflamingo look evil together. They look like bird of a feather.
