Hello, and thank you for your interest in Esper State University, the premier institution for aspiring Espeons!

My name is Satomi, and I'm in charge of promoting the school, as well as helping new students get started on their journey to unlock the mysteries and wonders that lie within their mind.

Here at ESU, you'll learn the latest in Psychic moves, as well as teleportation, prophecy, levitation, mindmelds, and all kinds of other mind tricks. So if you're tired of Fighting types beating you up every day, you can send them packing with your mastery of Psychic blasts!

But in order to begin this journey to unlock the powers of your mind, you must first take the ESU entrance exam. The exam will test your knowledge of the Pokemon world in all its forms--the games, the anime, the comics, and the cards. The questions are not something you can easily find in a book, or look up online, but they're not tear your fur out in frustration hard. As an ESU student, we hope you will learn to think deeply, and challenge the world's expectations, so the exam reflects this.

Luckily, the provost was kind enough to send an abridged version of this year's exam with me--if you can get at least half the questions right, we'll use your score as your entry score, and admit you!

The exam follows in the post below--you are not allowed to look up the answers in any way, shape or form.
