I can't even get out my bedroom door with my shiny Ninetales cosplay on, never mind ride a train and take a subway with that thing. And boy, the looks you'd get from everyone... everywhere. XD

Oh yeah, but that means an hour drive or an hour train ride. And you can forget about cosplaying with that kind of commute, which knocks out one of the funnest parts of going to conventions in the first place. XD

AC has one (Anime Next), but I dunno where you are in NJ, so there's that.

Also, I rode trains/subways in NYC while cosplaying. Not impossible, but you do need to have no shame. :3

Unfortunately, Animenext is all the way in Atlantic City, which falls into the over an hour away spot.

I guess it also depends on the cosplay. Some of the more basic ones that don't have many protruding features wouldn't have a problem, but the more wild ones definitely present a rather interesting challenge. XD

To be fair, it's like 4 or 5 hours away from where I live, and I still go. :3

Ya I don't generally do much of the wild/crazy stuff myself. I leave that to friends of mine really.

The last few days I'm in DC Otakcon is in town and I'm like seriously tempted to go but at the same time ahhhhhhh I can't because I have work and have to move out. T^T
