I can't stand snoring. I hate it with a passion. I think it's because my dad snores the house down though so it just bothers me no matter what.

Same. There was a time when I shared a hotel room with my dad and his snoring kept me up all night long. If I have to share a hotel room with him again, I'm using the same noise-canceling earmuffs I use when I go to the FIRING RANGE!!!

If that doesn't work, then I don't know what will. Maybe cranking out the Nyquil or Benadryl would do it.

Snoring apparently runs in my family.
My mom snores. My dad snores. My aunt snores.
Our dog snores.
I've been told I snore too.
If I'm tired enough or already deep enough in sleep it doesn't bother me, but if I'm trying to drift off then I'm just sort of in that tired-but-not-alseep-limbo.

Ughhhh, there's this one guy at work who does that every day at lunch. And he keeps scraping and scraping until every last molecule of food is gone.

Even though I'm dating myself, back in the day, the old digital crt tv's, after a blackout or a fuse is tripped and the volume and channel gets reset, then you turn on the tv and it's super loud and all you hear is that loud crackling noise and see the snow on the tv. *shudder*
