What's a song that reminds you of your childhood?

My brother hit me with The Sims 2 theme the other day and I was like "YES, NOSTALGIA!"

One song that always takes me back to being a kid is the Pokémon Advanced Battle theme, if only because it's what introduced me properly to Pokémon, and it was one of the first cartoons I remember actively coming home and watching every day. Advanced Challenge's theme has the same effect, but that was on weekends, so it's the Saturday morning cartoon I have fondest memories of. :D

Oh boy, this for sure.

Such a beautiful and nostalgic game and this particular track has a nice, comforting, "welcome home" kind of feeling.

Oof, Advanced Challenge's theme gets me EVERY TIME. Definitely one of the best themes.

Oh yeah, any of them from Master Quest to Advanced Battle always manage to make me smile. They're definitely my four favourite themes, if only for the nostalgia alone. It helps that they're pretty fun and catchy songs, though. :D

A lot of the songs from my childhood I still listen to quite a bit, a lot of 80's and 90's stuff is still in my spotify playlist, especially the rap/hiphop stuff. But the soundtrack from mario 3 would probably hit me with the feels, that and the intro to arkanoid, if anyone is as old as me lol. Commercial music wise, Groove is in the Heart by Dee-lite, and just about anything from stone temple pilots, soundgarden and Weezer from my mid to high school days.
