Mechanical pencils or regular pencils?

Which do you prefer?

It seems like a random topic, but I really dislike mechanical pencils. They always break a million times for me. :[

Mechanical are perfect. They seem to not only last longer, but work better too!

I prefer regular pencils because I have the same issue as @Bulbasaur with mechanical pencils. However, computers are much better than pencils in my opinion. xD

Mechanical pencils FTW!

I'm real picky about my mechanical pencils though. I use a Pilot Dr. Grip and usually 0.5 for most of my sketching and writing.

I also go for the mechanical pencils first. Sure, the tip breaks a lot, but if it breaks, you can pop out a new one with a few presses very easily. But if a regular pencil breaks, bleh, you have to sharpen that puppy and hope it doesn't happen again (and very often it does!).

I also hate that feeling that comes when a regular pencil just wasn't sharpened the right way and the tip becomes all jagged and scratchy. When you try to write with it and you feel that scraping against the paper, it makes my skin crawl the same way raking your fingernails across a chalkboard would.

I'm all about those mechanical pencils. I haven't used a regular pencil since those standardized tests back in high school.
