Ah I can't use earplugs, they fall out of my ears too easily. Trust me I've tried. XD

Well it’s always up to the person to decide to use them or not. My brother and sister never did. Their both younger than me and they have much worse hearing than I do. My hearing is so good everyone in my family hates how good it is. I can hear when someone gets home just from the car engine or the car door shutting. They can’t. I can even hear weird high pitched sounds from a fan in the house. I heard thunder way back in freshman year of high school long before the storm arrived. My other friend argued he had good hearin too and didn’t hear anything. Guess we found out who really had better hearing. It hit haaaaaaaarrrrrd too. Hated that day of band practice xD. I was pelted with rain that felt like needles from that strong wind.

Long story short: I love having good hearing. I choose to protect it xD

My hearing is actually fairly good, I think due to my eyesight troubles in the past cause an overcompensation. But that being said, I do get random bouts of white noise or static in my ears that make it difficult to hear at times. My doctor says it's nothing to worry about but eh. I don't really care when I've got 20-15 vision now and have a vastly superior sense of smell.

Same here. I've used them and I don't find them all that effective at all. It just feels more like someone is sticking their finger in your ear and that's about it.

Yeah I don't like them either. Though I've HAD to just to get by some situations. I had to go as far as using earplugs AND putting earmuffs over them to make it though without going insane.
