Brandon was laughed at as they showed him the pictures of himself from Virdian Forest. Brandon studied the picture and said "Hmmm.... I can see where you could get him mixed up with me, he looks very similar indeed. But I can assure you I am not the kid in that picture, nor have I ever heard of him". It was hard to have to deny being himself, but he knew it was the best play he had!

Once they arrived at the prison, they pulled Brandon out of the van. The prison was much different, there were armed guards everywhere, even worse the guards Brandon had beaten up to get to his Pokemon, were waiting for him with some device.

Brandon gulped, he knew this was not going to go over well for him. He was right, the guards came over and put the device around his neck, explaining that if acted violent it would shock him. Yikes... just what he needed a torture device around his neck.

The guards taunted him, they punched him in the gut, as Brandon keeled over in pain, they pushed him to the ground, daring him to try and fight back. Brandon just laid there quietly and took it like a man though.

He remained silent, until he heard one of the guards say "Afterwords bring his pokemon to me. We are testing out a new device and his will work excellent for that test."

Brandon shouted out "No PLEASE... Don't hurt my Pokemon, do what you want with me, but leave them be! Whatever actions they performed, they did at my command and my orders. I take full responsibility for their actions. I am their trainer, they were listening to me, nothing more and nothing less. So punish me, do whatever you want to me, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not hurt my Pokemon." he begged and pleaded with the guards. He even put his hands in the begging gesture.

The thought of his Pokemon being tortured for his actions were unbearable, they did not deserve that! And while he knew deep down Skipper and Swampert would rather die then leave his side, he still didn't want them to suffer on his accord.

The guards picked him up off the ground and escorted him off into a dimly lit cell, with plexi glass and a bed with no blanket. As they escorted him, he said calmly "I want a lawyer... I know my rights, I know you are required to give me one if I ask." Then he sat quietly on the bed, trying to figure out what to do next and hoping his Pokemon weren't being harmed.

The guard laughed
" Rights? Terrorists don't have rights. Your a** belongs to us now. No one is coming for you. We have the authority of the Presidents office. Don't worry though, youre not alone down here. There are two more freaks down here with you. One of them bites."


The guards left Brandon to his own thoughts. Once they were gone he could hear to others moving around. The cellblock was silent as a tomb beyond the other two inmates.

The guards cracked up laughing when he mentioned rights. As they guards left, Brandon shouted back at them "Last time I checked the constitution did not have any exceptions for 'terrorists'! I can sue you guys for this!"

The guards just kept walking, as they closed the door behind them, Brandon could hear people moving around in the dim cell. As his eyes adjusted to the dim light, he could make out the outline of two people sitting on a bed in the corner of the room. For lack of anything better to do, Brandon decided to approach the other prisoners. He cautiously and nervously walked up to the two prisoners, held out his hand and said "Hi there, my name is Brandon."

He was going to ask what their names were, but he didn't want to ask them any questions until he got a feel for who they were. They could after all be very dangerous criminals. Brandon looked at the prisoners nervously as he waited to see how they would react to his greeting.

Brandon looked out of the small window and with the limited vision, he could only see the cell directly across from him. There he noticed a hand.

"Hi there, my name is Brandon."Brandon Said

At first, there was no response. Then moments later a young ladies voice spoke up across from him.

"Hello Brandon, Im Celeste. Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" She said concerned.

After introducing himself to the person in the cell across from him, Brandon got a response from the woman saying "Hello Brandon, Im Celeste. Are you okay? Did they hurt you?"

Brandon replied "Nice to meet you Celeste, no they didn't really hurt me, just got a couple punches from a couple guards, nothing I can't take. I am not really worried about me though, I can take whatever punishment they can throw at me, what I am really worried about is my poor Pokemon. They said they were going to test some new device on them. I really hope they don't hurt or torture them, they are good Pokemon who go to great lengths to protect me. They don't deserve to be hurt or made to suffer because of me you know?"

Brandon didn't mean to say so much, but once he started talking he couldn't stop. It all just kind of spilled out. He hoped he hadn't said too much.

Rose and Kyo headed to the gym after the department store. She watched anxiously as she awaited her turn to battle Sloane. Once Meghan's battle was finished, Rose headed down and sent out her first Pokemon.

It was by no means an easy battle, but after all the training Rose and her team had done, she didn't have too much difficulty winning. After the battle was over, she headed back up to sit with the others.

Things seemed to be going okay until Brandon's battle. Rose wasn't quite sure why at first, but something wasn't right. People in the room seemed uneasy. It hadn't even occurred to Rose that using a Beedrill might draw attention. Brandon's battle finished, but just when Rose was thinking that they may manage to get by without incident, the White Rockets began to storm the gym. Rose wanted to call out to Brandon to come to them, but before anyone could do anything, the White Rockets were already on top of him, and Darci was trying to lead the group out.

"W-we can't just leave him." Rose pleaded, trying to keep her voice down, but she knew that there was nothing any of them could do. Rose headed with the rest of the group back to the safe house. She stayed silent for a moment, listening to the others debate what to do next. Again like she had so many times before, she began to wonder how everything had gone so wrong.

"If we can just find Max... I'm sure he could help us." Rose urged. After having seen Max call Ho-Oh to his aid and beat back an entire army of Rockets, she didn't think there was anyone that could beat Max if he battled in earnest. Rose began to anxiously pace back and forth, waiting for Sloane to arrive.

" I hope they arent doing anything to your pokemon or mine." Her voice said angrily

The chatter was cut short as the 3rd voice spoke up.
" If they laid a single finger on my pokemon Im going to burn this building down!" He screamed

The floor began to shake.

" Calm down ! Calm down! " Celeste screamed

a shock then put the mystery trainer out.

Celeste replied to him saying "I'm sorry to hear about your pokemon. I hope they arent doing anything to your pokemon or mine."

Brandon was about to reply that he hoped not either, when the other prisoner on the block chimed in saying in an aggressive tone "If they laid a single finger on my pokemon Im going to burn this building down!"

The floor also began to shake as Celeste pleaded for the prisoner to calm down. Moments later though, they could hear the crackle of electricity as a shock knocked him. Celeste then called him 'Red' and asked if he was ok.

Red... Brandon knew him! He had saved him and Rocky after the SS Anne had wrecked. He was a nice guy who seemed to be pretty powerful. Which explained why he was probably in here, it seemed the Rockets and President 'Garit' imprisoned anyone who either powerful enough to be able take them down or else who they felt might try to do so in the future. Red being here, could helpful if they decided to try and escape, since he was a very experienced trainer who also appeared to have some sort of powers.

Brandon shouted out "Red! Is that really you! It's me Brandon, you saved me and my friend Rocky after the SS Anne sunk! What are you doing here man?" After taking a moment to take a deep breath, he remembered Red had been shocked by the collar, so he added "Also are you ok?"

Kyo observed Meg and Rose's battles, cheering as loudly as she could for the ladies while also taking notes of their strategies. When it was her turn for a battle, she went down and faced the kimono woman. Her dark types were strong, but having observed the previous battles, Kyo was able to beat Sloane with relative ease. As she was handed her badge and walked back up to the others, Kyo held the Rainbow badge up to the light. Her first badge. She had never wanted to take on the gym challenge. Kyo smirked to herself a little. It felt oddly appropriate that her first ever badge was from an alternate dimension.

Then, of course, all hell broke loose. Brandon used his Beedrill in his battle. By all accounts it was a smart choice, since bug did have the advantage over dark types. But the booing and fleeing from the gym indicated that the Beedrill specifically was an unwelcome sight. Kyo felt herself and the others get rushed out of the building, leaving Brandon behind. She could hear the others protesting once they reached the hideout, but Kyo understood that there was little they could do about the situation. She couldn't fault Brandon. There wasn't any way they could have known about the law, but now they had to focus on their own task at hand. They had to wait for Sloane to arrive.

It was about an hour before Sloane arrived, her kimono swishing around her as she entered the hideout. Her shiny umbreon partner trotted next to her, surveying the occupants of the room suspiciously, trying to locate any potential threats to his trainer. Sloane surveyed the room as well, offering a smile to everyone in hopes to bring them a little comfort. "I am glad to see everyone else made it safely. In the chaos of the moment I was worried one of the White Rockets might scoop one of you up as well." She paused before saying, "Allow me to formally introduce myself. I am Sloane Jackson, leader of the Celadon Gym, devout follower of Lugia, and Max's half sister."

"Morty has informed me that you all are searching for him, as I have." Sloane paused and looked over the group again. "You all have proven that you are strong, and as wild as your stories sound, I am inclined to believe them. Morty has also testified to your character. If it weren't for these things I wouldn't dare share this information with you. Keep that in mind," she said. "After a long time searching, my latest lead on Max is a hospital outside of town. I don't know what to expect from it, but if you all are some intent on finding my brother, then you will accompany me when we venture there."
