Kyo stared at the S.S. Anne footage in shock. Where was Dredd? Where was Dredd? There was no way he was outside the shot. He had been there she was sure of it. Still, Lorelei didn't give Kyo much of a chance to process that when she dropped the bomb about Rose's trial. No no no no no! It wasn't Rose's fault. That had been Dredd manipulating her. Hadn't it? Candidly, Kyo's head was so foggy she couldn't decide what was real and what wasn't anymore. She needed food and she needed rest. Plus, it sounded like she'd have to come up with her own defense. This was not good. This was not good at all.

Standing up, Kyo bowed a little. "Yes ma'am. Thank you for this opportunity. I will not waste it." She was escorted back to the Staff Bunkers where she was relieved to find her pokemon. She also was able to change and clean up a bit. She needed food and a shower too but this was much better than nothing. Clipping the pokeballs onto her belt, she released Meowstic and hugged the psychic tighter than she ever had in the past. The cat pokemon rubbed against her and purred before clinging onto her shoulder. She decided to head to intensive care first to get her wounds treated and to see if anyone else was there. She needed to locate the others.

After Brandon's quip, nurses and guards seemed to flood the room suddenly, arguing among themselves as to whether to bring them to the infirmary or not. Eventually the nurses won out and the group was allowed to go to the infirmary. As they were being escorted to the infirmary, Brandon stuck his tongue out and shot a nasty glare at the guard who had initially denied them access to the infirmary. Once they reached the infirmary, they were placed in 2 different rooms, Rocky and Brandon shared one room while Alice and Meghan shared the other. They were hooked up to ivs and offered meds. When a nurse offered him the meds, Brandon thought about giving a nasty retort, but quickly decided against it. These nurses actually seemed to care about their well being and it wasn't their fault how they had been treated. Instead Brandon gave the nurse a weak smile and politely declined "No thank you... Just give me some food and let this iv do its work and I will be just fine". Brandon didn't trust anyone in this place, he sure as heck wasn't going to let himself be drugged in a place like this. He needed to maintain a clear mind so that he could escape when the time came. Brandon had read all kinds of stories of people being given medication that makes them so relaxed and messed up, they can't even remember how to talk properly. There was simply no way he was ever going to be accept any more medication then he needed to.

After the nurse left, the nasty guard that had originally declined them access to the infirmary, shot them an annoyed look before walking away. He returned a short time later though, throwing a newspaper at Rocky and saying with a sneer "There you go, Mr. Smithwick. You'll notice the front page says terrorist attack. That would be why minors are being locked up here. Youll gets a lawyer at some point but normally we don't rush terrorist to freedom." The guard then laughed and walked away again.

Brandon shouted after him "Your the terrorists... not us and your lucky I am so weak, or I would knock that grin right off your face", the guard continued walking away. After he was out earshot Brandon said to Rocky "What an ahole" before looking at the newspaper and reading the article about them being so called 'terrorists'. The article had very little factual information or evidence aside from the fact that the pokemon tower had collapsed and been destroyed. They also had a very blurry picture of the team with a caption asking who they were. The assertion that they could have destroyed a tower single handedly was outrageous and made Brandon hate the reporter writer so much. He said "Stupid journalists... going to make blind assertions without any facts or evidence." after a brief pause he said "Why aren't they going after Dredd, he was the cause of all this, we were just trying to stop him that's all" after still another brief pause he asked Rocky "So uhh... you think your folks would hook us all up with attorneys? Good ones... something tells me we are going to need them if they try to pin whatever happened on us".

The whole situation still didn't make sense to Brandon, while he may not be able to remember exactly what happened, he does know they would never have destroyed a historical landmark such as the tower willfully or intentionally. He knew they had the wrong people, but he feared they may not believe them.

Alice awoke to hear nurse chatting about her concernedly. She still felt unwellut now she was hooked up to an IV. Her head wasn't spinning as badly. She managed to move her head a bit to look for the others but none of them seemed to share the room she was in. Alice shut her eyes again and tried to relax as she waited for the medicine to work. She tried to focus on what the nurses bustling in and out were saying, trying typings pick up any word about the others or what was going to happen to them.

The newspaper rocked Rocky for a little bit. They were being accused of terrorism. That was bad. he couldn't remember what they had done, that was worse.

Well at least it was bad for the rest of the trainers. Rich people don't go to jail.

he did take personal note of the Guard that laughed at him though. That man was in for a world of hurt. Not physical pain, but the kind of personal, financial and legal, that only the super-rich could afford to rain down on their enemies.

"I'll see what I can do about the attorneys. Right now though, we are receiving medical care and food. Step one is survive. Step 2 is get out. Step three is where it gets fun. Step three is 'Rain destruction on these jerks! For now though, rest up, keep mental notes of every mistreatment and store them away in your revenge center."

Ember looked at her a little puzzled.
"Damn that medicine must be strong. Its July 27th. Lavender Town? Wait a minute were you at the Pokemon Tower ?" His face turning to shock

" Did you destroy the Pokemon Tower! Whoa you must be super strong. Try to play it cool." He said looking around.

" Keep up the nervous act. You dont want them to transfer you to the lower level. Thats where they keep him." He said

As the nurses rushed in Alice on a bed. Ember looked at the cart.
" Damn another new girl enters the wing." He said watching her roll past.

"She looks at as bad as you." He commented not meaning it in a rude way

Once Kyo was cleaned up she headed to check on the others. She was starting to feel the exhaustion but her friends came first. When she got inside the building before entering the emergency care unit she had to check her pokeballs. Once in she made her way through the unit until she found the two rooms being guarded. As she walked by the first room she noticed Rocky and Brandon. In the second room was Meghan sitting alone. Kyo was going to need to figure out a way to get the guards to leave the area.

As they chatted the saw Alice taken away. They heard Meghan shouting but couldn't even get up. Once things quieted down the two had a chance to listen to what was happening just outside the door. 20 minutes past before the two noticed Kyo walking by. She looked at them but past quickly.

Meghan sat in the room alone pacing with the IV still on. She looked out the window to the driveway below. As she turned around she noticed Kyo. For a moment their eyes meet and Meghans smile lit up. She was so relieved to see Kyo she took a few steps towards her but paused as Kyo continued.

Kyo frowned a little as she had to check her pokemon. But it was necessary. Entering the emergency care unit, she spotted the two rooms. She was relieved to see Rocky and Brandon somewhat okay, giving them a quick nod before moving onto the second room. Relief flooded her system when she saw Meg was okay. She sighed a little and smiled back at Meg before regaining focus and glancing at the guards. She crossed her arms. She'd need to get them to leave. She could just attack them but she was exhausted and they outnumbered her. That wasn't going to happen. So what other options did she have?

Kyo pretend to get a call on her communicator. "Writer speaking. Yes, I am in the emergency care unit. ... a breach? The psychic has gotten loose! Right, I'll send reinforcements right away." Kyo quickly spun around to the guards and straightened up as best she could to seem intimidating. "You, all of you need to get to where the psychic is being kept right now. I'd go myself but I have very little strength left so I will need to send people in my stead. Understood?"

The stunt had worked perfectly. Kyo now had a couple of minutes at best to explain what was going on.

Meghan heard Kyo's voice and saw the guards run off. She quickly made her way to the door poking her head out. When she saw Kyo coming over towards her room. She pulled her in for a big hug. She might held it for a moment too long before letting go and slightly blushing. She then checked her out worried about what might have happened to her.

"Are you okay? Have they hurt you ?" She said looking in Kyo's eyes

The two of the with Megs IV on rollers joined Rock and Brandon in the next room. There was litttle time to explain and Kyo knew theyd be wondering about their pokemon, what had happened and where Rose was. She noticed Rocky had the paper but wasnt sure they knew the depths of the story.

" Whats going on? Where is Rose?" Meghan asked

Brandon forced himself. " Our Pokemon?"

Rocky just held up the newspaper pointing at the paper

Brandon was happy to have such a rich friend such as Rocky at a time like this, Rich people always get the best lawyers that can get them out of almost any jam. Brandon was about to reply regarding the saving the mis treatments in the revenge center thing, when they saw Alice get wheeled out of her room on a stretcher. He shouted out "ALICE!" and tried to run over to her, but the guards held them back. Brandon shouted angrily, but weakly at the guards "Let us go with her... she is our friend!". When the guards wouldn't budge, Brandon reluctantly went back in and sat down in a chair next to Rocky. He was about to ask Rocky if he could read the paper again, when he noticed Kyo walk by the door, she shot them a quick nod as she passed. Brandon nudged Rocky with his elbow and said "Kyo... I just saw her pass by... I think" He wasn't sure if it was real or if the medicine in the iv was making him hallucinate. He was relieved when he heard her say something to the guards and then the guards went running away, leaving them unguarded. Brandon thought to himself momentarily "FINALLY NOW WE CAN BUST OUT OF THIS JOINT", but then remembered he didnt have his pokemon and they still had to find Rose. There was no way he was going anywhere without his pokemon or Rose.

Kyo appeared in the hallway in front of their room and Meg's room. Meghan was the first to reach Kyo, running up to her and giving her a big hug and asking her if she was ok and then asking where Rose is. While seeing Kyo made Brandon feel happy and relieved, all he could think about was his pokemon. He wondered if Kyo knew anything about their pokemon were or not, since she seemed to know her way around the place. He found himself suddenly having a burst of energy and so he shouted out "Our Pokemon?" Even though he only spoke two short words, Brandon found he was slightly out of breath, despite still being filled with adrenaline. He leaned up against a nearby well to catch his breath.

As he caught his breath, he saw Rocky hold up the newspaper and shout "THIS!". Brandon looked at Kyo waiting for a response hopeful that she would know where their pokemon were.

"The 27th of July?" Rose couldn't believe what she was hearing. There was no way so much time could have passed, but she couldn't think of any reason for Ember to lie to her about the date.

"The Pokemon Tower? Destroyed?" Rose questioned concernedly. This was the first Rose had heard of this. What Ember was saying didn't make sense to her. "Him?" She asked, not knowing who he was referring to. At the mention of another girl being brought in, Rose's first thought was that it could be Meghan, Alice, or Kyo.

"What does she look like?" Rose urged, hoping it was one of her friends.

Rocky kept reading the paper.

These people must want something, or else they wouldn't be bothering to try to scare them with these charges.

Rocky decided that the best idea was to play along and wait for the jailers to actually come out and ask for whatever they wanted.
