Maybe she just cares about battling and doing well in that? I've got no idea, I'm purely guessing. XD
Yeah, Team Yell seem to be too pathetic to be the main threat. Even more pathetic than Team Skull, which at least had Plumeria and Guzma to make up for the lack of menace and were also secretly serving as the muscle to the Aether Foundation. Team Yell by contrast doesn't seem to have a threatening leader (though to be fair, they haven't been revealed, so we could still get some menace into these guys) and seems to lack a connection to Chairman Rose, which strongly suggests that Team Yell will not serve as main antagonists. The official website also mentions that Marnie can get Team Yell to stop their obnoxious antics, and translations of her dialogue strongly suggests that she doesn't like them harassing her opponents, so this means Team Yell will likely become good guys by the end and learn to be fans who are supportive without being toxic.

Oh yeah I can definitely see them becoming reformed in some way near the end of the game as the real threat steps up. Like you said, they're even less intimidating than Team Skull, though to be honest I'm alright with more comedic teams as long as we get a real threat to go with it.

Something I saw on Reddit showed that Team Yell have a logo on their outfits (I think it's some kind of badge, or at least silvery-looking) that closely matches the logo of a company offering Poké Jobs. That has some interesting possibilities, and I hope there is a connection there and it's something we get to see unfold in the story. :)

I think that might just be the symbol of the company that is endorsing Marnie, since Team Yell are their fans they'd obviously also want to bring publicity to the people endorsing their idol.

I hope it's more interesting than that though, that's a bit too plain for my liking. But it's a Pokémon game, they're not exactly known for their complexity. :/

Seeing the trailer upon release in person was truly awesome. Hearing all the reactions was incredible! I feel these new moves and abilities will change up the battle style pretty strongly. Can't wait to see what comes up next!

New trailer! This one reveals a few new features.

    Spoiler:
First, two new Pokemon: the Water/Flying-type Cramorant (with a new Ability that lets it get an extra hit on the opponent under certain circumstances) and the Ghost-type Polteageist. Also, Alcremie was revealed to come in different "flavors", though so far the only one we've seen apart from the standard pink strawberry is the minty green.

A new feature is Pokemon Camping, where you can camp out with your Pokemon and interact with them with games and such, visit other trainers' camps to do even more activities such as cooking curry. This feature also revealed something interesting about Eevee: it will keep its cry from Let's Go, and the females now have the heart-shaped marking. I will admit I'm not very happy with that change myself, because I liked that Eevee had no gender differences. It also looks like we won't be getting a new Eeveelution after all, which is a bit disappointing, but oh well.

Customization is back, which is good. I like that this looks to be a permanent feature. Oh and also there's trading cards.

    Thoughts?

Color me impressed, I like what I'm seeing. I like the camping feature, the curry cooking stuff looks like it could be fun (even though I'm not a fan of curry in real life XD). I also love that customization is back and dang it looks good. I could also see the trading card thing being fun to create and muck around with.

Cramorant and Polteagesit seem alright. They're not the kind of thing that would land into my Top 10 Pokemon, but it looks like you can have some fun with them and I'm sure there will be some people that will enjoy their company.

    Making it double with Caite-Chan!

I do have some good news, though. In one of the shots you can see a Togedemaru, which may have increased Emolga's chances of being present in the dex (since to me it wouldn't make much sense to only put in one Pikaclone. It's either an all or nothing deal)

I'm really excited they brought cooking back. I used to loving making poffins back in the day so even if I'm making the curry by myself I know I'm going to enjoy doing it! Camp is like a dream come true for me. It's like Nintendogs but for Pokémon! I'm so EXCITED!!

Kinda disappointed it wasn't a teapot elephant but I do love Polteageist too and that new bird is interesting too. I'll have to give it a try.
