Do you want to play Pokemon while helping out others? Then read on!
The PokeCasters Network and Extra Life are hosting a charity event called The Poke’Locked Challenge.
The Poke’Locked Challenge

Those who compete will be given fifteen eggs to play Sun/Moon/UltraSun/UltraMoon on a new save file. From there, they will compete weekly in a race by reaching checkpoints. Those who reach the weekly checkpoints will be eligible for many prizes! Some of these prizes includes Pokemon World Championships exclusive merchandise, rare plushes, pins, event exclusive Pokemon, gift cards, tee shirts, and various other Pokemon items!
How does this help others?

All money from registration and donations will go to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Players who stream their playthrough will have the chance to earn extra prizes! Any money that they raise from their streams will go towards cause and enter them for even more fabulous prizes!
Registration

You can register for The Poke’Locked Challenge by clicking here. It will cost $10 dollars to enter. Registration will be from Friday, August 23rd to Saturday, September 14th. The Poke’Locked Challenge will begin on September 16th.
There will be other opportunities to take part in the PokeCaster Network charity by entering a VGC and TCG tournament. The VGC Tournament will be will be hosted by Mt. Silver VGC on Saturday October 26th. Meanwhile, the TCG Tournament will be hosted at New Dimension Comics in Pittsburgh on Sunday October 6th.
