Tune in tonight to see Pokemon in the 90s!
If you are a TV watcher and love Pokemon then you will be wanting to watch Schooled tonight. That is because Pokemon will be featured in the TV sitcom.
Below is a synopsis for Schooled’s Pokemon episode.
Learning he’s not into baseball cards, Coach Mellor encourages Toby to be competitive in CB’s Pokemon club; Lainey supplements her salary as a teacher by working at the local video store and learns an important lesson.
Based on the summary above, it looks like this episode of Schooled will be featuring some of the characters playing the Pokemon TCG. Photos from tonight’s episode have appear on Twitter featuring the set. Some of these images show that the program went out of their way to find old school Pokemon merchandise such as fat Pikachu plush and Squirtle. They even got their hands on the old two sided paper playmats. Schooled really went out of their way to give viewers the feel of how it was to play Pokemon TCG back in the 90’s.

Schooled is an American sitcom that is a spinoff of “The Goldbergs”. The show is set in the 90’s and follows Lainey Lewis who returns to Jenkintown, PA from the West Coast. She reluctantly takes a job at her alma mater, William Penn Academy, as a music teacher. Each episode deals with Lainey adapting to her new lifestyle as a teacher while interacting with her fellow teachers. Meanwhile, the show features different trends from the 90’s such as Tamagotchis, Star Wars and Pokemon.
It is really convenient that Pokemon will be featured on Schooled not long after a brand new Pokemon game was recently release. Somebody is making sure to cash in on the recent Pokemon boom.
Make sure to tune in to ABC tonight at 7:30pm to catch Pokemon on Schooled!
