Your brand new home for all your Pokemon!
Pokemon HOME has been open to the public since February 12th for both the Switch and mobile. This new app will allow you to store your Pokemon on the go and trade with trainers no matter where you are.
Below is a detailed description for Pokemon HOME.
Pokémon HOME enables Trainers to take Pokémon from linked Pokémon series games, deposit them in Pokémon Boxes in the cloud, and move them around to other linked (and compatible) games. Also, by linking the same Nintendo Account to both versions of Pokémon HOME—the Nintendo Switch version and the mobile-device version—fans can access the same Pokémon Boxes from both hardware platforms. The Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon HOME supports connectivity with the Nintendo Switch games Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!, and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! Both the Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon HOME and the mobile-device version of Pokémon HOME support connectivity with the Nintendo 3DS software Pokémon Bank.
As part of the opening for Pokemon HOME, Pokemon Bank and PokeTransporter will be free until March 12th. This will allow you connect Pokemon Bank to Pokemon HOME to start moving your Pokemon to Sword & Shield.
There will be a paid Premium plan that cost $15.99. You can click here to view the details. Though, if you want basic storage and trading on the GTS then that can be done for free.
Welcome home Pokemon Trainers!
