Get ready for a weekend of intense battles!
This weekend from Thursday, February 20th to Saturday, February 22nd will feature some of the most intense battles! That is because the Oceania International Championships will be held in Melbourne, Australia! Battles in the TCG, VGC and Pokken will be happening with players from all over the world! And you can watch it all on Twitch!
There will be three streams for competition. The finals for each competition will be shown on the same stream. Below are the details and links for each stream.
TCG Streaming and Details

The TCG format for the Oceania Internationals will be in the Standard format with decks compose of cards from Ultra Prism to Sword & Shield. It is worth noting that this will be the first tournament that Sword & Shield TCG set will be legal. The Oceania Internationals will really test out which decks and cards from Sword & Shield will be worth playing.

VGC Streaming and Details

The Oceania International will be the first International where Sword & Shield video games will be used for competition. There have been a few Regionals using this game but this International will be the real test for players and organizers on such a large scale. Will the likes of Gigantamax Charizard, Excadrill and Togekiss take it all? This regional will answer that!

Pokken Streaming and Details

Pokken will be kicking off their season at the Oceania International Championships. This tournament will help determine who will take part in the Pokemon World Championships for Pokken. The Top 2 players for Pokken at the Oceania Championships will earn an invite to Worlds 2020.

The Oceania International Champions will start on Friday, February 21st in Australia but because of timezones, it will start streaming for the US on Thursday. That means that the finals for each division will stream on Saturday night.
