A new Nintendo Direct dropped some new information for the upcoming Expansion!
If you were excited for new information for the upcoming Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra then you are in luck! Several new details was dropped today in a Nintendo Direct! Some of these details includes the Gigantamax forms for the Galar Starters, details for Kubfu and new accessories!
Gigantamax for Galar Starters

The name of the attacks that the Gigantamax Galar Starters have been revealed. These attacks look quite powerful and can cause intense damage to your opponent’s Pokemon. They look unstoppable and something you want to avoid at all cost.
Below are the details for each new Galar Starter’s GMax form.
Gigantamax Rillaboom

Grass-type attacks used by Gigantamax Rillaboom will change to G-Max Drum Solo. With this move, Rillaboom strikes up a beat with the sticks on its hands and elegantly controls tree roots with its spectacular drumming skill. It will then make these tree roots erupt from beneath the opponent, dealing massive damage.
Gigantamax Cinderace

Fire-type attacks used by Gigantamax Cinderace will change to G-Max Fireball. With this powerful move, Cinderace will use its powerful legs to kick a gigantic fireball at the opponent, causing an explosion when it hits.
Gigantamax Inteleon

Water-type attacks used by Gigantamax Inteleon will change to G-Max Hydrosnipe. With this move, Inteleon will take aim from the top of its towering tail, gathering water at its fingertip before blasting it at the opponent. The water is launched with such force and speed that it causes a huge explosion when it hits and packs a greater punch than other Max Moves.
Kubfu and Evolution

The details about Kubfu has also been release. It looks as if Kubfu is going to be treated as a Starter Pokemon. This is based on how Muster introduce you to Kubfu.
Kubfu will evolve based on where you decide to train him. There will be a new location called “Tower of Two Fists”. You will be asked to train at either a Water or Dark variant of the tower. Depending on which tower you choose will determine your Kubfu evolution.
New Trainer Outfits and Card Accessories


As part of the expansion, new trainer outfits and trainer card designs will be added to Pokemon Sword and Shield. Trainers will be able to pick from several new outfits such as a punk style outfit or a lady. There will also be several new hair styles such as a punk spiky hair style. Trainers can also pick outfits from characters that they seen in game such as Marine and Rose’s outfit.

Those who purchase the Expansion Pass before or a little after the release will be able to receive Leon’s cap and tights for free. You will have until August 31st to receive these items.
