Be sure to check for this week’s theme!

The next Community Raid Hour in Pokémon Sword and Shield is set to begin in an hour! This week’s theme is feline Pokémon! This means Pokémon like Meowth’s various forms and evolutions as well as Purrloin, Meowstic, and some of the Eeveelutions could be used to fit the theme. Of course, as always, you don’t need to meet the theme in order to participate in the Community Raid Hour. In order to participate, you simply need a copy of Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield and a valid Nintendo Online Account. Then you just simply need to start raiding.
This week’s theme is meant to coincide with the special event currently occurring in Max Raid battles. All Pokémon for the most part have been replaced with Gigatanamax Meowth. This is the first time it’s been available outside event so for those who couldn’t get it back in January, now is your chance to grab it. This is also the first time it has been available shiny and with its hidden ability, but it’s only here for the rest of this week so be sure to hunt it while you can. Catch that cat!
So let’s get battling trainers!
