Ah, I haven't seen that movie in ages! Were there any more feminine names that could work, or possibly go with O'Malley as if it were a last name?

Not that I can think of off the top of my head but I'll let you know if I think of one.

Posting in a thread that is almost three years moribund, because I watched two James Bond movies thus far this weekend and I was wondering if people have any ideas for what a super spy along those lines would look like in the world of Pokemon? Would he have a specially trained team of Pokemon or be provided new, specialized ones for each mission by the quartermaster to replace cool spy gadgets? Would he carry any regular weapons? What kind of villains and plots would he have to uncover and stop? I am currently in a Roger Moore, world-saving vein of the series, but I can see the merit of a grittier Timothy Dalton- or Daniel Craig-type of story as well.

Looked is kinda closer to a super spy being an International Detective. I see any super spy sorta like that honestly.

    The time is upon us...

I thought of him as soon as I posted, but while he does arrest some Team Galactic people and observe them, does he exhibit many of the trademarks of the genre? He does not strike me as a womanizer, lacks any cool gadgets (to the point that he is impressed by the Poketch), and lets a kid save the world instead of manning up and doing it himself. He might be a useful starting point, but if I were going to place him in a James Bond context, he would be one of 007's government liasons, like the CIA or KGB agents that he works with. Important to the plot, perhaps, but not the leading man.

    What a question.

I would say that a spy would definitely be given specialised pokemon for certain jobs, or even to suit a particular spy. Sounds like a great story. When you writing it? ;)

    Ehehehe...

First, I would need a villain and a plot! Something less tied to the existing evil teams, maybe, and definitely shying away from legendary Pokemon as a focus point.
