Zenith watched in awe as Max and Misty battled the gang leader. The fight was intense, but in the end, Max and Misty won. After the Sons of Arcanine left, the now-former leader gave Max his leader's jacket, and Max declared that a healing machine be placed on the bridge for people to use during the tournament. Max then talked to another man who seemed to be from the gang, and made him his second-in-command. He put the man in charge of the bridge while he traveled around with Sou, Sloane and Zenith.

Misty complimented the group, and Zenith smiled. "Thank you, Misty. You're really strong yourself. But that's why you're a gym leader. It's good you came when you did."

After a few more minutes the team was finally ready to head out. Misty let one of her assistants know she would be gone for at least a day. Max didnt pay much attention to anything around as he walked with Misty. He smiled as they exited the bridge.

"Finally.." he smiled.

" I thought we might end up battling all night." He joked out loud looking back at his teammates.


As they walked along the dirt path following the moon light they noticed the grass moving. It was hard to tell what was in the grass at first glance. Lila paused sending out a ember to light up the grass further.

Sloane saw the bellsprouts and felt Parashu shift on her shoulder. "You think we should catch one?" Parashu nodded. Sloane prepped a pokeball and sent out Carwennan. "We're trying to catch it so go easy."

Zenith followed the others along the road, taking in the scenery. Route 24 seemed quiet and beautiful. Just then, a group of Bellsprout appeared. Zenith stared at the strange-looking pokemon, actually finding them somewhat cute. She then felt the urge to catch one of them. She called out Oran, and the Luxray got into a battle stance.

Zenith watched as the Poke Ball wiggled one... two... three times, and then.... PING! She smiled as the red and white device signaled the pokemon had been caught. The ball then vanished as it went into the Storage System. She scratched Oran behind one of his ears, earning a purr of contentment from him. She decided to keep him out to let him get some exercise.

Misty looked over at Sloane and the others. "I know a pretty awesome camping spot near here!" she smiled. "Would you guys like to head there and camp for the evening?"

Max looked up at the moon. "It's been a pretty long day.." He looked down at the team. "I think we had four or five tough battles all in one day.." he joked. "A nice rest couldn't hurt."

Zenith nodded. "Camping out sounds good." she said. "I can even go collect the firewood once we get to the camping spot."

After finding a nice camp ground near the northern half of the route the team settled down and set up camp. They worked together to set up a fire and chat. In the middle of the night Max woke up with a cold sweat his hands shaking. "Something is wrong.." He said looking at his hand half fading. He jumped up backing out knocking down his tent. He couldnt control his breath as he moved through the camp. He looked back and his hand was fine. Lila and chunk followed him as he started to make his way from the tent. He stumbled through the forest tripping over a path of bushes. He fell hard on the ground hitting his head on a rock. For a second a white flash of calmness came over him. He slowly rolled over still in the mud.

"I know this place.." He said. His eyes began to glow.

He started to unconsciously start to dig into the ground using his hands.

The noise echoed through to the others.

Sou was looking around at their surroundings as they exited the bridge. It felt like it had been forever since they first entered it, but thankfully everything was resolved for the better. Max seemed smiling from ear to ear as he walked beside Misty before looking back at them at one point. She only caught the gaze in the corner of her eye, but didn’t say anything as she, instead chose to entertain her thoughts more. It was late as they walked, the moon out lighting their surrounding area, when grass along the dirt path appeared to have moved. She couldn’t see what the source of the movement was at first, but after max had his Charmeleon light up the area, it became clear they had come across some Bellsprout.

”Ohhh… I’ve seen one of those before. It’s been a while since we’ve encountered some wild Pokemon” she said with a smile. She reached to her belt and grabbed one of her poke balls, belonging to her Fearow. ”Time to add another partner to our team, Arrow!” she called.

After she and the others all seemed to catch a Bellsprout, Misty spoke up about knowing a camping spot near here. Sou smiled a bit. ”really? I think that sounds great!” she said excitably, though she was actually pretty tired after a long day, to which Max said himself towards them. With that, they headed to this camping spot spoken of by Misty and set up camp for the night. It felt nice for all of them to work together to set up their tents and camp fire. She chatted with Zen and the others, relaxed as they definitely had their battle quota filled that day. Before long, she was settled in a tent, sound asleep after a long day. Unbeknownst to her, Max had apparently awakened during the middle of the night, but still she remained fast asleep. Even as Max tripped and dug through dirt, she remained asleep, still as though she were a rock.

(I know I’m backtracking here, if this is not fine, let me know. I’m sorry I’ve been away. IRL. Thats all. I’ve covered everything thats happened so far in this post for Sou. As far as sleeping through it well…. let’s just say I have slept through a ton of noise while asleep. I sleep like a rock and if someone called for help, unless they were directly in my ear, I will not hear them ;;)

He continued to dig calling out Lila, Paras and Tron to help dig. This continued until the four dig into an underground cave. Max felt the haze fading as he climbed through the opening to two room cave. Lila jumped in next its flame lighting the way.

"This isnt like the Hoenn base but this could work for a new base. We just need Upgrade and our computer system." Max called out his team.
" What do you guys think about this being our new secret base?"

The pokemon looked around a little confused it was in the middle of the night.

"Parasect!" the happy bug called out. it seemed to like the area. As did Clefairy who started to help clean the place up.

"I got an idea, what do you two think about hanging back to take care this of spot?" Max smiled.

"Before you say yes, you should know it could be a little while before I will come back."

Parasect nodded.
"Sect sect"

Clefairy seemed a little unsure but looked around at the cave that reminded her of her old home.
"Fairy" she said giving the okay.

Max called back the others except for Chunk and Lila. Who said their goodbyes for now. Max hugged the little fairy type and the big bug.
" This is our new home so my only wish is you make it amazing and you we will need to get temporary cover over the entrance and maybe dig out some stairs." He smiled


After a little while the exhausted Max made his way back to the came and fell asleep.

The next day Max woke up still really dirty from digging. He looked around for the others his attention moved towards the lake where he heard Misty's voice. He rushed through the trees to see her playing with her pokemon. He took a second to get off his shirt and vest. He rushed and jumped off the edge splashing in.
"MAX!!" She called out annoyed


Chunk jumped in after.

Max didnt realize that Gyarados was with her as he swam to get her. When Gyarados came up from under him. He screamed out and tried to swim only to find himself flying through the air and landing awkwardly on the sandy shore. He pulled his face out of the sand and splashed some water on it.

"No fair." He fussed.

Max looked around not seeing the others.
"ZENITH! SOU!! SLOANE! We are swimming come join us!" He yelled taking off his wet shoes.

((I apologize guys. School has been killing me lately and on top of that I've caught the flu or something making my mind so much more muddled than usual. I promise to try and keep up from now on.))

Sloane merely nodded, her leg needing the rest. Instead of sleeping with the others that night, Sloane went to a nearby tree and sat against it. She pulled out her journal and began to write, inspiration flowing as the night went on. She could go without the sleep. She didn't really mind it.
Sloane looked up when she heard some shuffling and noticed Max fleeing his tent. She tried to stand up to follow him, but the pain in her left leg prevented it and by the time she did get up, he was already gone. With a sigh, Sloane knew it was no use trying to follow him in her state. She leaned back against the tree and continued to write until she heard him return. Sloane continued to write until the sky turned gray and it was only then that she fell asleep.

Sloane was fast asleep against the tree, journal held against her chest, walking stick a ways away from her. She was curled into a tight ball and drooling a little. Her Pokemon were still in their pokeballs, asleep as well. However, at Max's calling, some of Sloane's Pokemon came out. Parashu and Carwennan trotted down to the area where Max was and watched from the shore.
