"Oh really, because this is a forest and route, protected by the national and local government of Viridian City, and I don't think they would like people working here. Also with the black suit you got there, you look more like a crook than a construction worker," said Nathan to the man.

Brandon having finished the battle and all his pokemon being fainted ran back to the Viridian City Pokemon Center to heal his pokemon. Nurse Joy healed them in the machine... power was fully restored. Brandon thanked her and ran back to Viridian forest to re-join the group He then let him fly around on his own outside of his pokeball for awhile. He let Skipper out of his pokeball. Re-joining the group Brandon asked what the next task of place they were headed.

Rose's sensing was still blurred to do her partner's injury in the fight, but it was slowly beginning to get better. Rose didn't have Amirah's injuries treated because they weren't too terrible and she wouldn't be able to see anything while the psychic type was away. She did have her Rattata and her newly caught Mankey healed though.

When everyone started arguing, Rose fell to the back of the group. She hated arguing, and made no effort to hide her unhappiness with the situation. Sure, she was shocked too when Brandon had threatened the kids, but she just wanted everyone to stop yelling at each other. This was Rose's first real impression of Brandon, and it was far from a good one. She was happy when Meghan tried to get everyone to calm down, but it didn't really make a difference.

Rocky watched as the children battled and defeated Brandon. He smiled as they won their battles. I was good to see them unafraid to stand up to people who pushed them around.

As it finished he walked up to Charlie, the schoolboy who had talked about strategy and typing. "Hey, do you know anything about fighting types? I have a newly caught Mankey, who just won't listen to me. I need some tips."

Charlie looked up and said,"Let's see this errant ape Pokemon of yours. I know about it's species and genus. Maybe I can give some advice."

Rocky had heard most of those works before, but wouldn't have been able to use them quite so intelligently. He chose an empty section of the clearing and called out Mankey.

The Mankey came out yelling and screaming defiance, glaring at Rocky and the school boy. When Charlie refused to show any fear, Mankey ran at him trying to attack. "Mankey Return!" The Mankey was returned to it's Pokeball.

"So any advice?" Rocky asked the school boy.

"Hmm the barbaric nature of the Pokemon, seems to be heightened by it's encapsulement. One the other hand int needs to be encapsualted in order to prevent it's barbaric nature from hurting others. Or in layman's terms. It wants to fight. let it out set it a target and it will be happy. The more fights it get's into the happier it will be and the more it listen to you. It's really Poemon training 101. Did you know we have a Pokemon training school in Viridian?"

"Yes, actually you are the second person to suggest that I might need to go to the school. Thanks for the advice, I will use him in battle. Do you know anything else that might be of use?"

"One particularly notable aspect of the Apus Furiosis, or 'Mankey' is that all of limbs are equally strong. Which mean that it's Punches have the power of Kicks!"

@brandon_g - sigh, please edit your post. It wouldnt take you a minute to get back and forth. You also can not fly yet, and in this story Pidgey is not going to be flying anyone anywhere. If Pidgey could carry another pidgey I would be surprised. Only the largest flying types can us fly and that wont be for much further into the story. Same with any move you wouldnt be able to use in the game.

Max and the others stumbled upon the Pokethief with the bag. Nathan had just beaten. Before the man could get away Meg's Heracross landed right behind him. It was at that moment Nurse Joy and officer Jenny came racing over.

"Oh thank goodness you found him!" Joy called out.

Officer Jen walked up slapping the cuff on him.
"Good, another Pokécriminal caught."

As Nurse Joy scanned through the bag she noticed something.
"Oh!! Hey Look! " She smiled

"Is there a Nathan from Hoenn Here?" When she realized that it was the ball who captured she burst out laughing.

Looking at the thief
"The boy who unknowningly stopped you was also the boy whose pokemon you were trying to steel..talk about justice." She laughed.

"Here you go Nathan." She said handing over the Note from Birch with the pokeball.
