Alice got a bit of a fright as two round ears popped out from one of the hedges. Her Pokedex rumbled. She pulled it out of her pocket and a Sentret was shown on the screen.

"Interesting, a Johto native Pokemon," Alice remarked. "Your turn this time, Marionette!"

"Shupshup!" Marionette said happily. She snuck up behind the Sentret and hit it from behind with Will-o-Wisp. The Sentret shot out of the hedge and looked around for the now invisible Marionette.

"Confusion!" Alice called.

"Shup!" Marionette reappeared, her eyes glowing. The Sentret was picked up, it struggled in midair before it was slammed down again on the ground.

"Great work!" Alice grinned. "Now, let's catch it!"

Rose didn't even know how to react to something like this. She couldn't believe what they had just been dragged into, and she wanted no part of it. Still though, it seemed there was no getting out of it. "Why are we doing this!" Rose said frantically. "Shouldn't we go to the police or something!" She was scared. She took a deep breath. It didn't matter what she said, because she knew it wouldn't change the response her questioning got. She trusted Meghan.

"I agree with Rose about calling the Police. It sounds like a much smarter idea, but I see your point about finding the location of the amber first, Meg." Rocky said to Meg and Rose. "I'm kind of looking forward to checking out the Pokemon in the Cave system under mount moon. If Team Rocket went in there, then I guess we can write off any expenses incurred as a business cost."

Some strange looking furry Pokemon stuck their heads out of the grass to look at the trainers as they passed. They looked liek normal types, but when Rock consulted his Pokedex it somehow listed them as flying types. "That must be an error." he said and looked for a way to manually reset the system.

There was a handy Pokemon center just before the caves. Rocky went in and healed his newly caught Nidoran. He returned the other Pokemon to their balls to rest while he released the Nidoran.

The Nidoran extended its poison needles quickly darted it's eyes around the Pokemon Center. It seemed to relax when it saw no danger and withdrew it's spikes. It walked up to stand in front of it's new trainer. "Nidoran! Ran!" it said and allowed Rocky to pat it.

"Welcome to the team, Nidoran. We are heading into Mount Moon. Does that sound like fun."

The Nidoran listened to Rocky and seemed to consider what he was saying, then simply said "Nidoran" and followed him out of the Pokemon center, seeming to watch and listen to everything in it's environment. None of Rocky's other Pokemon ever paid this much attention to their surroundings. Nidoran was definitely more observant than the rest of the team. Rocky smiled, that would come in useful.

"Maybe we should call the police," Alice agreed. "But it will take them a while to get here, and we don't even know if Team Rocket really came this way. In the meantime, we can at least check it out. Trainers come through here all the time. If we find Team Rocket, we don't need to interfere with them unless we think it's safe. We're just trainers passing through, for all they know."

Alice headed over to the PC and changed her team around a bit. It was getting hard to choose between her Pokemon. She loved hanging out with all of them.

Alice sent out her new Nidoran. The little Pokemon blinked a few times in the bright Pokemon Center lights. "Hi there," Alice smiled. The young Poison-type ran up immediately and nuzzled her leg. "I'm going to call you Finn," Alice said.

"Nini!" the Pokemon replied. He seemed to be an affectionate little guy.

With her team ready to go, Alice headed out, following Rocky towards the entrance to Mt. Moon. She let Finn walk by her side.

Brandon walked along with the group, watching his Skipper interact with Rocky's Charmeleon Fury. He smiled as we watched. How wonderful it must be to be a pokemon. They passed more wild pokemon, but Brandon was satasfied for now with what he had, he didn't want waste more time. He heard the conversation about calling the police... He decided to stay out of it for now. He was rather nuteral the subject... But was more then okay with battling a few grunts.

They approached a pokemon center. He healed his pokemon then let his Nidoran out of his pokeball... He noticed this one seemed to be female so he politely said "Hello ma'am welcome to our team... I hope you will like us and accept us" the nidoran looked around... Then she rubbed against Brandon's leg... Promptly showing her acceptance to his team. Skipper appoarched Nidoran to say hello and introduce himself.

Then together as a team... They walked out of the pokemon center.

" The only business that needs to be worried about is health insurance for them when we get are hands of those sticky handed thieves!" Meghan said meeting the others outside the pokemon center. They walked to the cave together and before Rocky could rush in. Meg jumped out in front of the group.

"That lab assistant back their said Team Rocket was acting strange like they were setting up Max...If thats true then we could be walking into a trap." She said calmly.

"So lets try to avoid any unnecessary actions and be safe." She said pulling out her flashlight stepping into the dark cave.
