Brandon hurried to catch up the group... Eventually got really wet and damp with dripping water, Skipper was annoyed with the water but didnt complain and kept on lighting the cave, even so Brandon knew he couldn't keep Skipper out there. He stopped for a second, grabbed his small waterproof flashlight and clicked it on.

He then withdrew Skipper and contiued running. He caught up with the group very quickly and suddenly, the group seemed to slowed nearly to a stand still... Brandon came running and splashing in neearly colliding with those in the back of the group. He was met with hushes and harsh stares.

It was time to sneak. Rocky looked at Meg and smiled, putting a finger to his lips and nodding.

He pulled out Behemoth's ball and released the large Hippopotas. Before the others could complain about the large Hippopotas making too much noise, Rocky pointed to his ear and then at Behemoth. He was pointing out the lack of noise that behemoth was making.

The natural dancer's movement style of the large Pokemon made it very light on it's feet. Added to that was the natural camoflague shading of its body. Behemoth moved like a silent boulder in front of Rocky, providing him with cover. Rocky followed, moving as quietly as he could.

A sudden commotion was heard behind them and Rocky turned in unison with the others to shush Brandon who hadn't got the memo to sneak.

Nidoran walked quietly at Rocky's side seeming to understand the need for quiet. 'This Pokemon is way too clever' thought Rocky.

As they were sneaking one of the fairy lights lighting the way through the cave started to rush towards them. A single speck of light making an incredibly fast approach to the group. Whatever it was, it had seen them and was coming in to attack.

Before he had time to order a defense, Rocky saw what it was. Or rather, who, it was! Speedy had one of the fairy lights in his mouth and was looking very proud of himself.

"Speedy! Stealth mode!" Rocky whispered quickly to the Rattata and took the light from him. Speedy climbed up onto the top of Behemoth and rode the large Hippopotas.

The others seemed to agree that the north path was the one. Finn was happily petted by Meg. He nuzzled her hand. He seemed proud to have been helpful.

" This is our path, stay close and lets try to be as silent as possible." Meg said.

At that moment, Alice heard a crash and Brandon appeared behind the group, having almost run into them. He was soon shushed. Poor Brandon always seemed to be getting into messes, Alice thought.

Alice and Finn followed along with the rest of the group, as quietly as possible. It was hard going in the dim light, trying to avoid all the small rocks and boulders. Alice was impressed by Rocky's Hippopotas. She would never have thought such a large Pokemon could be so silent, but it was obviously very well trained and navigated the path with ease.

At one point, a light approached them from the distance, but it was just Rocky's Rattata. Alice breathed a sigh of relief. She hoped there were no Ghost type Pokemon in here. She loved her Shuppet but other Ghost types could be much more menacing and mischievous.

Finally 40 minutes had past and the northern tunnel hadnt led to much. The team finally caught a break as they finally caught up with the voices they had heard. 20 feet up in a clearing two grunts argued



"The boss said, north east to avoid the ice creature...We need to stay on this path and get these stones safely." The grunt hissed waving the bag around.

The other slapped his head.
"We were told this route because it would be easier to trap that guy in this part of the tunnel." He shook his head.

Meg put her hand up giving the team the signal to stop. She ducked down out of sight.
"Well we found them.." She whispered.

Rocky crept forward and ducked down next to Meg. This was intense, actual criminals were just ahead, and they were going to try to ... "OK so we found them. What do we do now?" he whispered as quietly as he could (which is possibly not quiet enough ).

"No," Rose said in response to Meghan, "Amirah's not sensing anything." Rose would have known if she was of course, since all that information was being transmitted to her. Rose sensed the grunts up ahead slightly before they came close enough to see. She was visibly shaking, but she didn't want to disappoint Meghan, or any of the others, so she tried her best to stay calm. "How many of them are there?" Rocky asked.

"Two." Rose said as Rocky poked his head above the rock. She could clearly sense them ahead. Once again, she didn't even consider the fact that they didn't know about her sensing yet.

Alice tried to get a good look at the grunts. She could only see two, but there could have easily been more in the darkness. Rose agreed that there were only two. Alice thought she heard the word 'stones'. Were these the ones who had robbed the museum? Suddenly she had an idea.

"We have the element of surprise right now," she whispered to the group. "Maybe we should use it to our advantage. I think we can beat these two, but it will be even better if we can catch them off guard."

Alice quietly sent out Marionette. "Go and give those two the fright of their lives," she whispered to the ghost.

Marionette grinned rather creepily and then went invisible. Alice crouched behind a large boulder and waited to see what would happen. The cave was rather spooky in the dim light.

"Let's get ready to battle," she whispered to the others. "If something goes wrong, we can retreat instead."

Alice was feeling a little more confident lately. She was less timid and more likely to act when Max wasn't around to lead them. She realised then that Max made her kind of nervous. Her strange desire to impress him caused her to question herself and keep quiet.

Brandon followed the group as they inched along, they spotted the grunts... he crouched as Rocky asked how many there were and Rose replied 2. 2 grunts was nothing... his team could take them... let alone the entire group. Brandon told his pokemon to remain quiet but to form a defensive formation once more, Skipper remained pokeball for now, if he was needed, then Brandon would release him, but not before.

Brandon just crouched silently waiting and watching.

Meghan looked at the much bigger Rocky and shrugged.
" We go over their and ask them nicely to return the stolen goods." She joked.

Meghan had nerves of steal, thanks to all those races and coming close to getting trampled by Rhyhorns she wasnt really scared of much, however she also had the bad of joking when she was a little nervous. She would have been a bad poker player. "What about .." She paused as she noticed what Alice was doing.


As the two grunts argued the stealthy little ghost floated over and appeared right in the middle of the two grunts. The small grunt let out a very girly scream which was pretty embarrassing the screamed echoed down the tunnel halls. The other reacted grabbing him by the collar.
"Its a damn shuppet you fool.." The grunt paused as a new sound filled the cave. At first the sound was very low but grew louder and louder until.

"Pika pika!!!!" The little pokemon said its checks lighting up.

"Oh crap cover your faces.." Meg said jumping to get Rose out of the way.

Zubats swarmed in from all over the place. The little creatures were everywhere and they were not happy to be awake.
