The Zubat's came in fast. They swarmed through the cavern, flying around frantically. Rose ducked, and her immediate reaction was to back as far into the corner as she could. The massive amount of bat Pokemon confused her senses, making it hard to tell exactly where everything was. After calming down slightly, she pulled out a Pokeball. "Ember, flamethrower!" she shouted as the fire type appeared in a flash of red light.

Ember let out a massive blast of fire, scoring a direct hit on a Zubat, instantly knocking it out. It hit the wing of another Zubat, which quickly turned to retaliate, swooping in and biting Ember's arm. The fire type swung at the poison type, but it flew out of the way. Another Zubat came in from behind and began attacking, but Ember swung it's head around and blasted it, scoring another direct hit and knocking it out. Finally the second Zubat flew in and hit Ember once more, knocking him out.

Meghan had hardly escaped the wave that flooded in. She looked at her partners making sure Kaze and Pika were alright. She slide up against the wall sending in Pika to help clear out the zubats.

Pikachu made quick work of the littles bat zubat circling Meg. With more room to move Meg called to the other trainers. The noise of the Zubat was enough to make their voices.

Just as Rocky was about to stand up and nicely ask the two Rocket Grunts to return the stolen goods a commotion caused a huge flock of Zubat to attack.

Rocky almost laughed. His first lesson in type match up was when he had watched Byron take down a flock of Zubat with a lone rock/steel type. Now it was his turn. "It's Ok everybody. I've got this! Rusty come out and play!"

The little Aron came out of its ball and saw the Zubats. "Go get 'em Rusty. They're all yours."

Rusty smiled and jumped up on a boulder and issued a battle cry "ARON!" One of the Zubats tried to bite Rusty and ended up with cracked teeth as it met Rusty's impenetrable shell. Rusty casually backhanded the Zubat into a cave wall. Then 2 more came for an attack. Rusty casually picked up 2 rocks and threw them with pin-point accuracy at the two zubats, stunning them both.

The rest of the flock realised the danger that Rusty Represented and kept their distance form the little Aron.

Alice couldn't help but smile when Marionette surprised the grunts, causing one to scream like a girl.

Before anyone could make a move, a rumbling sound echoed through the tunnels. It grew in intensity until the beating of wings could be heard clearly. Alice ducked down, shielding Finn as a swarm of Zubat thundered into the cavern. They seemed very agitated. It was a bit early for them to be awake. Anyone would be angry if they were woken up with a scream like that.

Alice looked around at the others. She hoped they were all okay. She grabbed Paprika and Aria's Pokeballs and released the Pokemon. Marionette reappeared by Alice's side.

"Let's calm those Zubat down with a little exercise," she said. "You sit this one out Finn."

"Chu!"

"Geeottooo!"

Aria was faster than the Zubat, bit the cavern limited her flight dose. She took a hit before ty using down a Zubat with Wing Attack.

Marionette dodged around her opponent, but the Zubat was quick. It hit her with a Leech Life and then Wing Attack while she was recovering. "Confusion!" Alice yelled, and her eyes began to glow. The helpless Zubat was thrown against the cavern roof before tumbling to the ground.

She looked around. The Zubat were dropping as the others took them down.

Meg called to the group, the noise of the Zubat enough to mask her voice. Now was a good time to surprise the grunts.

"Anyone got a plan?" Alice asked. "Should we just walk up and ask them to return the stones?" she knew that would most likely result in a battle, and she was ready.

"Absolutely not..." She said confused at the other trainers.

" These guys beat up up the assistant at the museum.." She said

" We can use the all these zubats to move in close and maybe with some persuasion. We can get them to give them.." She said.

"Ill take the lead..."She said staying low and moving into the big cavern.

As she rushed out the she noticed the two grunts swinging wildly at the Zubats. Meghans impulsiveness kicked in as she noticed one of the grunts starring at her. She looked down to Pikachu.

"Thunderbolt!" she called out which scattered the zubats.

With the Zubats clearing the team was now face to face with the two grunts.

With the Zubats clearing the team was now face to face with the two grunts.

"What are you kids doing here!!!"

Rocky released Fury and Kick-Puncher. Kick-Puncher let out a scream "Mankeyyyy!, while Fury hissed a sinister "Chhhhhhaaaaarrrrr".

"Oh, hello there", Rock said standing to his full height and flexing his muscles. "My name is Rocky and these are my friends. We are looking for some criminals who stole some stones from the Pewter Museum. Now, deep down, I am a pacifist, so I hope this can be done civilly. You acknowledge that you were wrong and return the stolen goods and come along peacefully to the Police station."

"These two however." Rocky indicated the angry looking Mankey and the Charmeleon glaring and looking sinister. "They would much rather you put up some sort of resistance. So what is it going to be, give in peacefully or 'Prepare for trouble'?"

Brandon watched in wonder as Alice's Shuppet scared the daylights out of one of the grunts.... A few seconds later a swarm of newly awakened zubats sorrunding them, trying to attack them... Brandon was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of he zubats, he tried franticly swatting wildly at the zubats around him. His pokemon were feebly attempting to fend them away from theier trainer, Manky punched at various zubats knocking one down, then another, Pidgey flapped is wings and pecked at a couple passing zubats, nipping one in the wing, he also used his claws when he could. Mudip began squirting water at a couple zubats, dis banding their formation, missing the zubats themselves. The resg of Brandon's pokemon wefe also doing what they could, eventually the swarm began to dissipate, Brandon reached on his belt and released Skipper from his pokeball, Skipper blinked a few times, seeming slightly confused... Then he saw a couple remaining zubats and made the flams on his tail bigger, chasing after them. The swam was now cleared up enough for Brandon to assess his sorrundings, he saw other trainers battling the zubat swarm. After a couple minutes they were almost completely gone and now they could see the grunts. Meghan's pickachu cleared out the remaining zubats, then Rocky confronted the grunts... He thought it was quite silly, it was obvious that the result would be battle. Brandon stepped up next to Rocky, readying for the battle, Brandon's pokemon formed their formation again, giving the grunts very evil stares... Skipper growled the grunts and crossed his arms and tapped his foot annoyed and somewhat inpatient with the 'neogations' efforts, the rest of the pokemon Brandon had followed suit, Manky put his fist left fist into his other hand, making the usual prepared for a fight sign, Mudkip growled and moved a nearby puddle of water closer to him... All the time still staring at the grunts menacingly. The rest of his pokemon were doing similar actions.

Brandon almost chuckled at his pokemon's eageriness. One thing was clear though, his pokemon were definitelly ready to fight.

The two grunts paused looking at the kids.
"What?? Return the goods and say sorry...hahahaha" The slower one burst out laughing.

The other one however just growled.
"Turn back now kid..." he said shaking his head at Rockeys random flex.

"This fight is bigger than you.." He paused as a voice to low to hear called over the walkie. THe grunt picked it up. The grunt grabbed the other and jumped out of the way as the cave floor below the team gave out. The explosion of dust swempt through the cave. The 15 foot drop was enough to put all the team in a bad place as well as force them to return some of their pokemon who could be killed by the still falling rocks. The two grunts looked over.

"Pefectly good trap wasted on loser kids.." He shook his head and disappeared into the dust to far to go after. Bird types couldnt fly in this condition they might slam into the walls or be pinned down by falling rocks.

Two new trainers poked their heads over the hole

"I told you, he wouldn't fall for that.." Butch said pausing.
"Oh you see what I did there.." He laughed.

"Not a single looker in the whole bunch.." Cassidy paused looking at Aron.
"I was wrong Butch this wasnt a complete loss...we have bait and now Ill have an Aggron .." She laughed

The whole team laid in a pile of rocks. Some people were pinned down under others. Meghan struggled to get up..Rocky was right above her. Before anyone could stop them.

A new pokemon appeared much more dangerous than the others.


Golbats flew in from all directions. Confuse Ray caught every team member causing them to temporally pass out. When they awake. Rockys Aron was missing. Meghan growned as she woke back up. Still dizzy from the effect of the Confuse Ray..
