Rocky called out Speedy. Speedy had, in the past, proved to be an excellent little thief. "Speedy I need you to grab that walkie talkie. The rest of the team will draw the fire from the grunts and the Geodudes. Your only instruction is to get that walkie talkie and get it back to me. Do you understand?"

"Rata" Speedy answered and scampered into the shadows.

Plan part B. Hit 'em fast, hit 'em hard!
"Geodudes means water, fighting and ground types are our Go-to types here. Let's do this." Rocky stood up and charged the Grunts, calling Behemoth and Kick-Puncher out to lead the charge. These guys had taken Rusty.

As rocky ran he felt the familiar thrill of rushing into battle. Just like when facing a rival football team. He grinned as he closed in on the grunts with fists clenched.

When Rocky began talking to his Rattata, Rose began to panic. "Wait a minute, don't you think we should talk this over?" She asked. Rocky proceeded to charge at the grunts. Rose stood still for a moment, trying to figure out what to do. It was clear that she had only one option though, and that was to fight. "A-Amirah, now that you are stronger, do you think you can try to confuse some of the grunts?" She asked, moving a bit closer to the grunts, but having no intention of charging in like Rocky did. Amirah responded with a telepathic "Yes" and began to hover towards the grunts, but trying to still stay close enough to Rose to send her information.

Rose released her Nidoran. "I know I've hardly gotten a chance to talk to you before now, and I haven't even named you yet," she said, kneeling down in front of it, "but can you try to keep some of the geodude's in here occupied?" The poison type contemplated the question for a moment, looking down at the ground. After a few seconds, it looked back up at Rose and nodded.

Brandon watched as they found the team rocket grunts, trying to blow a hole in rock, he listened as Rocky he asked Rose to see if she could see how many there were... He alsk said Brandon should take the lead and kick things off... Brandon thought ""Finally a time... Where my recklessness can actually help the group"

He wanted to wait for Rose to respond before he did anything though. While he waited, his mudkip whispered a 'Kip kip' and began to evolve...

Brandon watched in silent happiness as his pokemon evolved, he smiled, it was nice to see. Then Brandon's attention snapped back to the grunts, they had said something about reinforcements... They couldnt risk that, quickly he gave Skipper a potion to heal him up, then he whispered to orders to pokemon, marshtomp in particular and raced towards the grunts, his marshtomp made the move right on time, he squirted the 1st grunt with water gun, soaking him thoroughly, then he followed up to deal with the other one, he hit him with splash, soaking him as well, then skipper (attempting to avoid the water) charged and tackled a Geodude, pounding him with his horn and hitting it repeatedly with his tail, marshtomp slapped the 1st grunt in the face with his tail gently, not enough to injure the grunt, buy enough to give the message "AND THAT IS FOR BEING A CRIMINAL AND STEALING POKEMON", then Marshtomp used watergun on a nearby Geodude, Brandon also let out his Pidgey... Who seemed to have recovered from getting hit with the rock, coud join the fun if he wanted to.

The move had been made... Now the real thing has started.

Rocky rushed in bravely. His plan wasnt the most solid plan but the tough trainer. He tackled a trainer to the ground than Brandon sent his pokemon to attack. While the planned worked temporally. It was just a set up. A thunder wave rippled through Brandon and Rocky. immobilizing both of them and their pokemon.

A team of grunts surround Nathan and Rose. Giving them no option but to surrender. Rocky and Brandon were still awake but they could not move.

Butch stepped out of the shadows clapping "bravo..bravo.." He laughed

" Now that I wasnt expecting...A little aggressive..but you gotta do what you gotta do." He joked

Cassidy looked at Brandon.
"Having pokemon attack people...whats a matter kid you never learned the basic rules of training? Using pokemon to harm people like that is illegal...and dangerous." She paused

"He is careless , foolish and a danger. Maybe we should recruit him.." She joked looking at Butch.

"You children dont seem to learn. We set one trap not for you and you set it. We set a second trap and you set that."

Meghan and Alice were following the Bulbasaur towards the sound. When they had gotten close enough to kind make out what was happening. A group of Grunts stormed at them. quickly overpowering them and their pokemon. Alice and Meg watched helplessly as Rocky and Brandon were set up.

The two trainers were then pushed out into the group with Rose and Nathan.

"Now we have a brat reunion. Who wants to share their camp stories?" Cassidy laughed

Rocky laughed at Butch, realising that since he couldn't move, the only resistance he could give was mouthing off at the idiots hoping to annoy them into making a mistake.

Alice kept a tight hold on her egg as the grunts appeared. There was no way she and Meg could handle so many. She could see the rest of the group up ahead. Fearing for her Pokemon, she returned Finn to his Pokeball. Aster remained protectively by her side.

Alice stood with her back to the others, shielding her bag from view.. She quietly sent out Marionette while Rocky taunted the Grunts. The ghost was worn out, but she smiled silently at her trainer.

"Use Screech," Alice whispered.

The ghost opened her mouth and a horrible piercing wave of sound emanated. Alice struggled to cover her ears with one hand, as she clutched the egg in the other, almost dropping it. The sound went on and on as Marionette screeched.

Alice winced, looking up at Meg, Nathan and Rose, hoping one of them would be able to use the situation to their advantage.

Rose froze up as the grunts moved in to surround them. She could sense them moving a moment early, and tried to slip away, but she got cut off. She backed up against the wall, Rocket grunts surrounding them on all sides. She was terrified, angry, and upset. Her partner came racing over to her side. "Meghan!" Rose shouted as she saw them being forced over.

"Now we have a brat reunion. Who wants to share their camp stories?" Cassidy laughed. Rose was so angry and upset. She was powerless to do anything. Even if there was something she could do, she was too scared and upset to move. Amirah hovered around her, trying to comfort her. "Th-thank you." She said to the little psychic type for always being there for her. She heard the marionette begin shrieking, and Rose slammed her hands over her ears.

"OH please...like we weren't expecting that. We've had to deal with Red, Blue, Green and Yellow in the past. Just relax ...what you are about to see is a treat for such low class trainers."

Alice returned Marionette to her Pokeball. Oh well, she had tried... It seemed like none of their Pokemon would be able to stand up to Team Rocket. She wondered where Max was for the tenth time. She ignored the taunts from Cassidy.

Alice knew but kept her mouth shut. She had no desire to interact with ruffians like Team Rocket. Rose seemed upset, so she tried to give her a reassuring smile.

Rocky sat where had been placed still unable to move. Team Rocket had the drop on them and all he could do was sit there and hope that the Paralysis wore off in time to punch Butch in the head. He tried to flex as best he could to work some movement back into his limbs as he waited impatiently for the Rockets to get to the point.

Looking around the darkened cave he saw a glimmer of hope stealthily staring from the shadows.



Rocky shook his head and Speedy melted back into the shadows.
