A Jynx? Alice thought. Interesting... She had never had never seen one in person before. They were quite rare and often lived in secluded caves.

" The lady who owns it is trying to trade and we wanted to see her one last time before she goes!", one of the boys said.

"If you like the Jynx that much to come and see it, why don't you just trade for it yourselves? The you can see it forever!" Brandon laughed. Alice thought it was a good suggestion.

"UHh..if only it was that easy!" the second boy said. "What she wants in return is to hard to find!"

Alice was intrigued now. Their group had collected a wide variety of Pokemon on their journey so far. She wondered if any of them had what the lady was looking for. "And what is that?" she asked, while Brandon helped the waking Rocky to his feet.

"Why dont we go fishing then! Im sure we could wrestle up a Poliwhirl here in Kanto pretty qucik. When I was on the bus I noticed pictures of beautiful lakes north of the city. I believe if we try going up Route 24 we may just find one there..." She smiled

He pulled out his Poke-I-Pad and logged onto the inter-regional Pokemon trade market. He trawled through the numbers for a few moments and then looked up excitedly.

"Jynx is considered a class F rare, while Polywhirl is a class B uncommon. I vote yes lets go fishing. First one to catch a Polywhirl is going to make the deal of a lifetime here."

As Brandon helped Rocky to his feet, he heard Rocky mention something about an ice type Charizard. He didn't quite have a direct answer to that, so he replied with "An Ice-type Charizard? Doesn't sound too charish... After what we have seen and been through Rocky, I must honestly say anything is possible. I would find it a little unlikely, considering the fact that Charizards ideally like to melt ice, not the other way around. Who knows though, anything is possible.". Then everyone seemed to begin discussing a Poliwhirl to trade for the Jinx, he had meant it only half seriously, but it seems like everyone thought it was a great idea though. As they discussed it, Meghan and Rose seemed to have come up behind them, Meghan mentioned something about being able to catch it while fishing. They all agreed to go fishing, though there was only one problem he could foresee, he couldn't re call anyone in the group with a fishing rod. He brought this to their attention saying "What about fishing rods, I don't believe any of us have one, atleast that I have seen. How do we fish without a rod? Unless you want to do it the primitive way, a stick some string or rope and something sharp. I am open to that method too, though it likely wouldnt be as effective...." he trailed off the last sentence, he realized the others may not know what he was talking about. He had begun to stray off on a tangent, so he decided to stop it there before it went much further.

"Fishing sounds like fun," Alice agreed. She could use a bit of a relaxing break. It would be nice to be out in the fresh air, and better still, it would get the group away from the city, just like Max had said in her strange dream...

"Before we go though I need a hot chocolate or something to fully thaw out my head. That ice blast was very cold!" Rocky said.

"How do we fish without a rod?" Brandon added.

"What about talking to Misty about what to do next?" Alice asked. "We should really get that out of the way... I think we should get out of the city as soon as possible... Maybe if we split up, some of us could go buy rods, Rocky could get his hot chocolate and some others could go talk to Misty? Then we could meet at the trainer bridge that kid mentioned..." Alice suggested.
