Shortly after he caught the Oddish a message from Rocky came in on his and seemly everyone else in the group's poketech saying he had found the secret base but tuat he needed to hear a recording of Max's voice to get in. Alicd came over asking him if he knew how to view previous video footage of stuff on it. He smiled at Alice and said "I am sure I can figure it out, however, I don't think I have any footage of Max on mine. Do you? It is too bad there isn't tv around, I am sure we could find a channel with a recording of his voice on somewhere. I think Meghan might have foltage though.". At this Brandon hegan fiddling with his poketech and walking over to Meghan at the same time. When he reached Meghan he asked "Hey Meg, do you happen to have any old recorderings of Max on your poketech?".


Then suddenly he recalled something "WAIT A MINUTE! Maybe I do have a recording of Max on here somewhere after all, remmeber when Max was arrested at that Museum? He was streaming everything to our poketechs so we could see it from our hiding spots. I wonder if this thing auto records and saves anything that is sent to it?" Brandon then began fiddling with his poketech even more furiosly.

After catching oddish Meghan scrolled through her nav. After having trouble figuring out how to send or even recover the footage Meghan suggested the team just hold off until they see Rocky. They continued moving forward until they go to the spot on the map Rocky should be. A heavily wooded area with little light. Meghan and Charmeleon called out for Rocky but he couldnt hear them.

Rose felt a strange tingling and once again she found her mind sensing something new. She could feel her arms bound, needles piercing her skin. but this wasnt her skin nor was her body tied up. She could sense the world around her. Men in black uniforms..could it be Team Rocket. A huge circular tank with bubbling green liquid. Inside the big tube wires. Then she noticed something small in the corner something that the others could not see. A golden ring hovering in the corner of the room.


Back on route 24 Rose stood still. Her mind in two places but not just her thoughts.
*Dont panic* the voice said calmly. This voice was something only she could hear.

*You are close to my base...I can see the world clearly around you. * It repeated.

She could tell now that this was max's voice

Rose started to "see" everything around her. She felt a amazing boost in her powers. The pathway to the secret base was as clear as day. She followed the stairway down past Rocky, Pancham and Kecleon. She walked up to the Panal..


She felt a sudden surge of pain. Something was very wrong. Max was in pain.

.....The voice trembled giving her the code for the door.

Listen carefully, the locker in the far corner of the room has a small hatch.. The voice paused in pain.

Secret hatch at the bottom..

Under the golden pokeball there is....a ...panal. Take the pokeballs and pass them out...its..happening...Cerulean is in danger..CERULEAN IS DANGER! the voiced called out fading away.



Meghan followed right behind Rose who seemed to be in a different world.
"Rose..." "Rose" she asked following her down the hideden stairway.

Alice was alarmed. They had found Rocky, but Rose was acting strangely. She had managed to find a hidden stairway somehow. "Rose?" Alice called after her. "What's going on?" She kept walking.

Meg was already following Rose down the stairway. Alice looked at Rocky. "I'm glad you're alright," she said as she slipped his Poketech off her wrist and held it out to trade. "Looks like you've found a new friend," she smiled, noticing Pancham. She then looked worriedly back at the staircase. "I guess we're going in..."

The group decided to travel on until they found Rocky, then worry about everythint else later. A little while they found Rocky, he was in a bushy, grassy area. Not long after arrival, Rose seemed to act strange and go down some secret stairs, Meghan followed close behind her. Brandon looked at Skipper in excitement "Looks like we found it buddy! Guess we're going to have to go down these stairs, brighten the flame on your tail for me and stay close, be alert for anything and be ready to react at a seconds notice". Skipper nodded and then Brandon began to follow Meghan down the stairs, Skipper close on his heals, the flame on his tail having brightened in case they came across an area where extra light was needed. They contiuned following Meghan and Rose down the stairs, now this was the most exciting adventure they had in a few days, Brandon wondered what was at the bottom of the stairs and what awaited them in the near future.

Rocky was happy to see all of the others arrive.

"About time you lot showed up. What took you so long?" He asked with a smile.

Rose simply walked past him. "Hi Rose!" She didn't respond she simply walked up to the door of the secret base. "No point trying to open that. It's locked with some impressive securi...." He stopped talking as Rose walked up to the door and opened it without any trouble at all.

"Kec, Kec, Kec" giggled the unseen Kecleon.

"Oh, you be quiet!" Rocky said in the Kecleon's general direction.

Alice greeted Rocky and held out his Poketech to swap. Rocky swapped Poketechs and introduced her to Pancham. "This Pancham helped me find this lair. Be careful though she has a friend Kecleon who is guarding the place. It is a lot less friendly than Pancham."

"Come on I want to see what is inside this place!" he turned to follow Rose inside the base.

Alice looked at the Kecleon. She hadn't seen one in the wild before. She wondered if it knew Max. If it was guarding his base, then maybe it was his Pokemon...

The boys both headed in after Rose and Meg. Alice followed then, bringing up the rear of the small group. Plume didn't like the dim light, she squawked loudly as,they descended. Her voice bounced off the walls. Alice shushed her quickly, worried about what was waiting for them in the depths.

Rose was the first one into the dim cave. At first it was very hard to see but after a few steps the lights turned on. The cave had been converted nicely into an underground base. The floor was covered in a smooth melt plating and a couple of big rugs. There was a small hallway leading to a room on the left and a room on the right. The walls were covered with different pictures of legendary pokemon. The room on the left was filled with trophies. Sets of region badges and photos along the wall. There were six separate cases with just a solo pokeball being displayed like a museum artifact. Each of the pokeballs had a strange carving on it. The last one in the row was an empty spot.


Meghan looked in thropy room.
" He would." She laughed

She walked up looking into one of the glass cases.
"I wonder what these symbols mean?"

The room on the right was his office. A big computer in the center of the room and a table that was a 3d map displayed right behind it. In the corner of the room were a row of lockers and medical table. Finally there was a folded up cot in the other corner.

Brettles looked around the base it showed a lot of Max's past exploits and victories. He was particularly impressed by the 3d map of the region and studied it to try to get a better understanding of the Kanto region.

When he came to the trophy room he walked along until he came to the empty spot where there should have been a Pokeball.

"I wonder what happened there! Do you think Max didn't finish that Journey?"

"I wonder what these symbols mean?" said Meg.

Rocky looked at the symbols to see if they were familiar.

((Sorry, By the time you posted the important stuff last night I was already getting ready for bed, and I tried to get on this morning to make a post but the site was down.))

Rose began to hear a voice in her head. She realized almost immediately who it was. "Max!?" Rose called out, frantically scanning the area. Her senses suddenly became far stronger than they had been moments before. She ran down the stairs to the base, listening to every word Max said. She didn't know what was happening, but she could sense something was wrong. She entered the code to the base and went inside, still drowning out anything that anyone around her might have been trying to tell her.

"Max!" She called out again as the voice became more urgent, not even thinking about the fact that no one else could hear the voice, or even that anyone else was there at all. "What do you mean it's happening!" she yelled as the voice began to fade away. A tear streamed down her left cheek. "Don't go..." She spoke softly, freezing for a few moments. After coming to her senses, she ran over to the location that Max had told her there would be a secret hatch and removed the panel. Inside she saw the pokeballs. Quickly she removed them, her hands visibly trembling. She turned around towards the others, but her hands were trembling so much, she dropped one. Frantically bending down to pick it up, she dropped two more.

"C-Ca-Cer-" Rose stuttered, too scared to even speak.

"Can this do anything?" As she spoke she noticed Rose making her way towards the other room.
@Brettles feel free to be creative. You can have him look up the sysmbols. They were the pokeballs of Rayquaza, Ho-oh, Azelf, Registeel and Regice. The last one is reserved for Articuno...but anyone in emerald should know that...

She didnt want to be rude so she let Rocky do his thing. Looking over at Alice.
