they walked in to the garage and found a car.When the opened buttefree and pidgeotto appeared and paul got them back in their pokeballs.
as the jeep went down the bumpy road so noticed the bunch of pokeballs. A couple were of the trainers in the group the rest were put in the car.
then they continued for a while they found a flipped over van and reese.

Reese and his pokemon looked very tired.

"Surge's generals are in there and while I dont want you guys to get involved I could use the back up. If you guys can take out his generals I can take out Surge."

paul thought that sounded like a god idea.

then Rocky asked if they were ready.

paul replied with a bit more confidence then usual

"you bet i am"

but reese needed some help so paul stayed behind.

" Paul right?" Reese asked

"yes, and if i remember correctly so are you Reese"

" Have you ever seen a Mega Evolution?" Reese smiled

paul"no, at least not in person but i think i saw a mega blaziken on TV once a really long time ago"

" Paul you are in for a treat then."

He said holding up his wrist.
"This is a key stone and one day probably soon you and your team are going to get one. Think of a the key stone as a way to harness a trainers power. The key stone can connect to Mega Stones. Mega Stones are like key stones in that they harness a pokemons power. Now a trainer can find as many Mega Stones as he or she likes but they only work if there is a very strong bound between a trainer and his pokemon." Reese said calling over Charizard.

"With your friends distracting Surges generals it gives me a real chance to take out surge. " Reese lifted his arm

" Charizard, Mega Evolve!"

Paul got to witness the transformation.

"Charizard!" it growled

With the newly evolved pokemon. Reese called out Eevee who once again transformed into Joltoen very quickly, He also called out Snorlax and Venusaur.

Reese looked at Paul.
" We are going to move in close and then attack. Keep your head low and while Im battling Surge you have to destroy the machine. Okay?"

Reese explained mega stones for paul and called over his charizard.

then Reese lifted his hand and charizard mega evolved.
When Rees's charizard mega evolved so was paul just in awe. then Reese sent out some of his other pokemon and told paul

"We are going to move in close and then attack. Keep your head low and while Im battling Surge you have to destroy the machine. Okay?"

Reese and Paul ran towards the front of the building they were now just below the rampaging gym leader Surge. Who stood at the top of the building.

" Well look who it is Riachu...Now thats a face I havent seen in a very long time. Red, I thought you were dead or exile." Surge laughed

Paul could finally put a finger on why the guy looked kind of familiar. Trainer Red had been world famous at some point but had vanished years back and had almsot been forgotten about. Red was much older than and had a light beard.

"Pikachu and I havent forgotten about you either Surge." Reese growled

" Last time we met though Im pretty sure you ended up on the wrong side of Zapdos..which seems kind of ironic since the same thing is going to happen." Reese said

Reese was distracting Surge so Paul could make his move now towards the open door and get upstairs.

Surge growled
" How do you think thats going to happen!"

Reese folded his arms.
"First Charizard going to beat it and while thats happening my team and I are going to come up there and mop the floor with you. After Im done beating you Im going to take out the machine and leave you alone with the enraged legendary energy which should send you sailing off into sun set. Or blow you hell either way you are going to down!" Reese said

"And I dont like being called that anymore. Charizard dragon claw!"

the two pokemon went at it in the sky. The attack could be heard through the area. Rose and Alice could feel the building shake. Rocky had takent he trainers pokeball and made his way out of the basement only to bump into Brandon and the two trainers rushed to see what was going on. As Rocky and Brandon came around the building they saw Mega Charizard and Zapdos fighting in the sky. It seemed that even with that much power the charizard was still outmatched.

At that time Paul was making his way up the stairs and ran passed Alice and Rose. As he got the top of the building he found himself a lone with Surge who was distracted by Reese. However it seemed though he would need to go through one pokemon to get the machine.

When Surge noticed the both he laughed.
"Another baby come to battle Lt. Surge..Ill devour you kid." He laughed stopping only when he saw Reese coming up.

Before he could call out the other pokemon Reese was tossed up by Venusaurs vines. Surge turned away from Paul leaving the boy to battle his top pokemon alone.

Reese and Paul went in to the building. Paul finally noticed why he recognized Reese, Reese and Red are the same person, and while Reese/Red distracted
surge so went paul upstairs. But while he was making his way up so heard he two powerful pokemon battling in the sky.
When he had made it upstairs so was surge distracted but his ace pokemon raichu was not.
paul got one of his pokeballs and threw it, it opened and a light came out the light quickly solidified in to trapinch
who started to nibble on pauls leg (this is going to be a running gag).

paul sed to his pokemon a little annoyed
"trapinch could you please stope biting me and bit the raichu"

the ground type stoped and looked at the electric rodent

paul told his pokemon to attack
"use sand tomb"

trapinch started to glow a bright yellow and a bunch of sand appeared out of now were spinning around raichu

"now follow it up with superpower"

trapinch body started to glow with a blue outline and slammed in to raichu doing lots of damage.

but then raichus hand started to glow and it hit trapinch with its mega punch attack knocking trapinch out with one attack

after trapinch was one shot so sent paul out his primeape

both pokemon used mega punch in eachoters faces then raichu used a powerful thunder
knocking primeape away. then primeape used fury swipes and scrathed raichu until it fainted.

Rocky made his way out of the basement carrying the Pokeball he had taken from Jose. It felt good to give these thieves a taste of their own medicine by taking one of their Pokemon. It felt even better to have saved this Raichu from its abusive trainer.

"Hi Brandon!" Rocky said as they nearly collided as he exited. "What is all that noise? Something big is going on, I don't wantto miss it!"

They rounded the corner to witness a Mega-Charizard taking on Zapdos. Rocky sat down and watched. This was better than most of the live Championships he had watched from his family's private box growing up.

Rocky called out his Pokemon to watch. Nala, Parasect and Vulpix sat quietly in awe of the sight. At first Rocky thought they were astounded by the battle, but then he realised that they were actually sitting in quiet respect, watching the legendary bird. They knew they were in the presence of a legend and were showing it the respect it deserved.

Then there was Speedy!

Speedy was excited by the battle and ran around chattering and jumping in the air flapping his tiny Rattata arms trying to fly like the two big Pokemon in the sky. Poor little speedy wasn't getting anywhere.

Rocky called the excited Rattata over. "Speedy, do you see those big things on either side of those flying Pokemon? They are called wings. If you want to fly you need wings, so I think you are going to be stuck here on the ground with the rest of us." Speedy looked disappointed for a few seconds, but then chirped up and ran into the bushes.

Someone came out on the roof of the Building. It was Paul, he pulled out his Pokemon to battle Surge's Raichu. "Yeah, Go Paul!" Rocky cheered from where he sat watching. Speedy came running back from the bushes with a bunch of sticks and leaves in his mouth.

"Ratta! Rattata Rat rat!" Speedy said excitedly.

"I'm sorry Speedy. i can't understand you when your Mouth is full!" Rocky said.

"Rattata! Rattata rat rat ratta rat!"

Pancham tore his gaze from the sky battle and grabbed the sticks and leaves. He fashioned the sticks into the basic outline of wings and then started to weave the leaves into the 'wings'. "Pancham! Pan Pan Pancaham!" he said to Speedy.

"Rattata!" said Speedy and he ran into the building. A minute passed in peace as Rocky watched the battles and Paul took out the Raichu and moved on to try to destroy Surge's machine.

Speedy came running back a spool of thread and some black cloth. "Rattata, Ratta rat rat!" the excited Rattata exclaimed as Pancham used his crafting skills to create speedy a set of 'wings'.

Rocky laughed as he attached the wings to Speedy and watched the Rattata jump from his shoulder and glide smoothly to the ground.

Rocky kept watching the sky, it seemed like the Mega-Charizard was tiring. That wasn't good. Angry Zapdos, was not his idea of a good time!

After defeating the Raichu Paul and his team went to work. It took Venusaurs strenght to hurl the huge metal cylinder off the building where it exploded on the ground below. As it did it sent out an energy blast into the air and Zapdos turned its anger on Surge and the others. Venusaur used its vines to get get Paul and his pokemon free by leaping off the building. Alice and Rose were just getting up to the roof and jumped back down. Rocky fell over scrambling to get out of the way where Brandon had jumped into the woods. Reese ran towards the edge of the building jumping on Charizard. He called back his team circling around. Mega Charizard went through the window flying through to collect Alice and Rose who were scooped up by the fire dragon as it it went out a open window to safety.

Surge didnt back down.
" What are you doing? I am your master now. We can stop these babies! I got more machines!!!!" He pleaded

Zapdos flew right into the gym leader.

A big blast electric let out and the building was leveled. Surges admins barely escaped the falling building. and Surge was gone. Just before the blast Zapdos had lifted the trainer up. Had Surge been taken by Zapdos? did that mean the worst for Surge or did that mean the team had not heard the last of Surge?

Everything happened so fast. Alice couldn't see much of what was happening from inside the building, but she had run upstairs to find Rose when everything began to shake. There was some kind of explosion. She ducked down for a moment. The static electricity in the air was overpowering. She felt like her whole body was humming. The ground beneath her feet seemed to shake.

Suddenly, a large black dragon swooped into the window. Reese was on its back. Alice grabbed Rose's hand. "Come on!" she yelled over the crackling and booms. Alice was scooped up by the Charizard as it flew out another open window. At first she was afraid, but the sensation of flying was exhilarating. From the sky, she gasped as the great lightning bird Zapdos flew straight into Surge. There was a huge bang of electricity and the building crumpled to the ground! Zapdos and Surge were gone.

"Oh no!" Alice cried. Their Pokemon had been in cages on the main floor! "Our Pokemon were in there!" she screamed to the others. "We have to get them out of there!" She hoped the cages had saved them from most of the impact.

HOW DID I FORGET ABOUT THE POKEMON!!!!
(Its time to use some lose story telling otherwise RIP.)

Zapdos grabbed onto Surge. As the Machine hit the ground below electricity shout out high into the sky. There was no way to miss this. A strange small pokemon poked its head up near by and let out a yawn. Its attention turned to that of the fear coming from the Zapdos.

The little zoomed out of its nest and quickly few towards battle. When the building bagan to collasp the pokemon sped through uses its powers to get Surges Admins out. The Admins stumbled out confused and fell over unable to explain what just happened. As the building came down Alice screamed out.

"We have to get them out of there!" Alice cried out

The rubble started to shake and powerful blue light appeared and the all the pokmeon and pokeballs were encased in it. It seemed to be some sort of psychic barrier. Everyone including Resses stood shocked as the pokemon floated to a safe spot and were put down. Next something none of them could record of Identify because there Poketechs had once again been knocked out due to the overload of energy.

The little pokemon flew around. It seemed to be looking for something or someone. It stopped just sort of Rose on the ground. Rose could feel its healing powers. The pokemon paused for only a moment smiling at the trainer. Then Rose heard just a name from its thoughts.

*Meg?* The pokemon asked not waiting for a response.

It floated above the wreckage for a second before flying off and disappearing.

The pokemon were now all safe and just like that the police trucks could be heard approaching in the distance.

Angry Zapdos took down Surge.

Rocky started to cheer as the building fell. But then Alice cried out "Oh no!" Our Pokemon were in there! We have to get them out of there!"

Rocky stopped sheering and started running toward the rubble. He was suddenly stopped by a strange blue glow which grew in intensity. A strange powerful Pokemon performed some powerful move that safely pulled Surge's generals and the trapped Pokemon out of the building. This amazing powerful Pokemon held all of their attention, until rocky heard a beautiful Sound.

"Aron! Ron ron ron Aron ron ron!" accompanied by the sound a heavy footsteps running towards him.

Rocky looked down in time to see Rusty as the little Aron leaped up and cannon-balled into Rocky.

"Oof!" the familiar air being knocked out him as Rusty affectionately tackled her trainer was a true joy. Rocky hugged Rusty to him and looked at her in disbelief. "I am sorry, Rusty. I'll never leave you out of my care again!"

Behemoth gave a dance of joy and Rocky hugged the big Hippopotas, Prof Needles gave him a fist bump, Fury and sniper came in for a group hug as well.

Looking up at the strange Pokemon, Rocky thanked it, it felt good to have his team back again.

He heard the police cars coming in the distance. "I hope we don't get blamed for this one too!" he said to the others.
