Out of curiosity, does anyone know Exorcise? That could potentially neutralize the risk.

We've yet to find the Exorcise teacher, if that's a learnable skill this round. So no.

Well I talked to high-and-mighty Vye the bisharp, Looks like we've either got to fight them or pay or just go and do the rescue mission after all. While I believe we have enough to pay, I am not inclined to do so as I highly doubt that whatever reward we get will make up for 900 splinters in cost. Rescue is most likely to succeed, I think, but I have the feeling that doing so would greatly damage our reputation with those at the bounty hunter's guild. Fighting is also possible, but honestly not something I want to risk, even with my type advantages.

Also @Suicune's Fire the response post said they were a teacher for escape/rescue but on the front post they were listed as teaching clairvoyance.

Ok, so looking at it, I'd be best interviewing either Jhuruni (Bruxish) or Xelphar (Turtunator) (I don't know how dragon works for interviews. Would it be shared type or super effefctive?)

I must admit I am not fully up to speed on all past interviews yet. Do we know anything about either of these yet?


Also, as we're not letting Orin in straight away, it'd probably be best if someone with Protect/Escort guards him tonight, just in case the stalkers try to take him out before we can decide. If no one else is willing I can Protect/Escort, but I feel I would be more use as a healer than as a guardian.

Jhuruni we know a little bit about by talking to the business owner Lapras in the lake- they're friends, and the lapras respects them, believing them to be skilled at (their job? Something undefined). Theres a small thread of worry about drug use in that circle- that social area is the main place "sway" has been mentioned and we dont really know what it does or who is dealing it. Not that it matters, really, but it could be connected to a stalker because those things make pokemon /desperate/.

The turtonator I haven't seen mentioned anywhere by anyone. While that's worrying, it possibly mostly means they're unlikely to be a stalker (?) and unlikely to be an extrovert. I feel like we would have noticed such a fiery pokemon lurking around before this point if they'd been important!

Either way, getting writing samples from pokemon where possible would be nice, so we can try to match up indulges writing.
I dont think anyone can do a protect at this stage! The time for submitting actions to do during this night cycle closed last week, and I dont think anyone chose to guard Orin. That said, I think a few players didnt submit an action? So they might just hang out in the clubhouse with Orin anyway.

Who do you think will have killed tonight? Who do you think died? I really hope it's not kaskin! I feel like it's about time we see a kill from abatis or indulge, myself.

Speaking about the ritual (is it different to exorcise??)-- idk if anyone remembers but literally Yasha, while not being identified as a teacher, brought up the sin purge ritual relatively unprompted and told us to bring her some ritual stuff and prove we are doing good before she gives us more info;

"I am a priest of light, if the Stalkers are instruments of dark. I do not sit idly by as these evil forces devour our town piece by piece. I know of the Sin Purge ritual. It has been completed before, and it can be completed again. It is not something I can accomplish alone, even with the strength of the Storm Lord on my side. If you can prove to me that you are here to do good and bring prosperity back to this land by banishing the Stalkers, I will help you. If you find anything pertinent to the ritual, please bring it to me, and I will have something to contribute in turn."

So... if someone wants to go to her with the holy infuser, staff and seal, and ritual passage, I feeeel like she would give some helpful results or at least let us know what else we might need to get or do.

For Protecting Orin I meant the upcoming night, (turn after next.) Could have worded that better. >_<

At the moment my main focus is finding someone to teach Exorcism. Jhuruni is good at something, so perhaps that talent is Exorsism?
And if Xelphar has gone under the radar, then that would be a prime way to avoid being targeted by the Stalkers, which would be good for an Exorsism teacher. So both are still likely maybe?

So, if nothing better comes up I'll interview Jhuruni next action. Anything specific anyone wants me to ask?

I kinda disagree about talking to Sebbit. Sebbit will most likely unlock scavenging yes, but I feel that Exorsism is more important right now. We know what we get from Sebbit, but it's not as important as what we could potentially get from others...

Doing the autopsy is a free action- you can do it AS WELL as talking to sebbit! Go chat up that scrap dealer! Good luck! I think you should do it, because you'll have more specific questions for him since you're interested in DeeMangs storyline.

But yeah most likely he wont teach exorcism... which is a skill I haven't seen mentioned anywhere in the game yet ...and im not sure actually exists in this current game... but all the players who have played in the past seem to think it's a very important thing to find and use and learn....

Am I just missing a vital piece of gameplay information?
Here's what I know, as a new player;

We have our kill skill to outright squish stalkers.

There are only two things left undescribed as (???) in the gameplay manual, and they arent skills- they're default actions.
One of them is clearly going to be [[Restrain Pokemon]] once we build a cell.
I expect the other one will be [[Conduct Sin Purge Ritual On Pokemon]] because that has been mentioned by PCs in game and it'll surely take an action to do.

Is there any other option we even need? Why not just work on unlocking the sin purge ritual, and assassinate if things get dire?
Why is exorcism important? Does it actually exist? Has anywhere in the rules mentioned it? Have any GM posts mentioned it apart from Orins diary, wherein he clearly never found an exorcist?

I mean, if you've got evidence, shoot me down, but I feeeel like theres a pretty strong case that searching for an "exorcism teacher" wont work out, and we should work on putting together a sin purge ritual, which DOES DEFINITELY exist.
