Which means there's another way for it to go up, and if you ask me, letting a self proclaimed stalker into our base is a sure way for that to happen.
Yeah, I gotta agree with this. This seems like a really bad idea letting Orin in. If we don't let him in and proceed as normal, we should be okay. But if we do and a Stalker has a front row seat to everything we're doing, we run an extremely high risk of getting bait and switched and that could have really disastrous results. The risk is super high and I don't think the minor benefits that might come out of it outweigh what could happen from doing this.

If you were to ask me, I'd say thanks but no thanks to Orin, keep the investigation on Shilamora, and proceed as normal. Guys, don't trust a Stalker. You all know what happens to Georgie when he decides to trust Pennywise, don't you?

We could call up a poll and vote on it, but I am definitely hitting the No button.

Another no from me--Neo took the words out of my mouth
Everyone has a dream that fills their heart. A journey they must take. A destiny to fulfill. As close as your imagination exists a magical place, where wondrous creatures with incredible powers help make dreams come true. It's the world of Pokemon!!"

Yeah I'd be giving a hard no on this too. I don't want to see a Stalker invading our private areas. Tied down or restrained or not. It's still a Stalker and extremely dangerous.

    The time is upon us...

I strongly disagree with Neo's plan. This is not a simple yes or no situation. Should we let Orin into our base? Obviously no. However, just because we are not following one of his requests in no way means that we should disregard everything he says and offers.

If we hold him at a separate location, we run no risk of him discovering our plans, while gaining all the benifits that he can offer. Any harm he may do would be to the one holding him back, which I will gladly offer to do myself if it comes to that.

This is not an all or nothing situation. There can be compromises, we can minimize the risk whithout losing the benifits. Don't just blindly ignore a potential lead on the stalkers outright.

    So then the compromise is;
    Where do we keep him?
Is there already a location with straps for holding a pokemon down? (I feel like there is)

I mean if it's possible, we can try doing that, but I'm not sure what might become of that or where else this would happen.

I'd have to say if there's a spot to do this, make sure it's in a spot that doesn't get a whole lot of scrutiny. I think it might be bad news if either townspeople or his fellow Stalkers catch this being done.

(From a game perspective, I don't know if compromise choices like keeping him somewhere else are options, but Xanthe can elaborate on that if it is and what options are really there).

Thing is, he can go free during the day. He just needs to be contained at night.
    @Suicune's Fire
I have edited my post to reflect my preference about tying Orin up. @Neo Emolga, I have indicated #54b Clutch of Decaying Houses: Collapsed House as the location, as per your post to put it "in a spot without scrutiny."

But the whole thing is that he's not going to be privy to all our plans -- at best, he'll be to ones during the night. Plus, having him in our base means we have the advantage of numbers, if anything bad happens, we're all there.
@HorusMyDude, I have an idea of escorting Fikl (the Snover) to the Ice forcefield at another one in the clutch of decaying houses. It's a "safe and warm place" so getting it figured out could mean another blessed tool or it could mean a way to perform the cleansing ritual, or maybe it's just a safe spot -- a great place to hold a Stalker, IMO.
If you have other plans, I'll learn Escort during the Day instead, and take Fikl myself.

    More things to do:

    Talk to Yurtag
    -- Lychee's orders... he's Indulge.

    Talk to Sebbit
    -- Unlocks scavenging.

    Talk to Samba
-- the other side of Dee'Mang's story

    Talk to Dimfred
--He's got a sidequest, relation to Samba, mentioned by Harmony as "very skilled" or something. I want someone to ask specifically about Samba and/or Dee'Mang.

    Talk to Typhen
--Give him an Adrenaline Orb. We have enough to spare. Let's see his blueprint, get his payment, and clear the mission.

Attention: none of those matter right now.

We've neglected the yellowback huts and the rusty shine units. in this post, Golly listed off everybody on our list who lives at Rusty.

    TOP PRIORITIES:
--Search the Rusty Shine Units (one of them is smelly)
    --Question Pakson the Crabominable
--Search the huts at Yellowback Lake (there's a Stalker message there)
--Question and/or INVESTIGATE Aliema the Helioptile
    --Search the Vehicle Yard

Hey guys, bit of an update here.

I'm going to need to stop making posts on weekdays. It's just getting too much for me. I'm out of the house before 6:30am and home after 7:30pm, and after making/eating dinner and getting ready for bed, I have little to no time. The time I do have needs to be spent resting, because Stalkers is quite time consuming but also requires a lot of focus and attention, and I just can't be doing that after long days. I need time to wind down and let myself relax, or I won't get a break.

I'll continue to update during weekends, and weekdays only if I'm feeling like I have spare time or really want to make posts. As it is now though, I'm gonna have to limit it to weekends. Dx Just for the record, for those who don't know, I launched Stalkers THE DAY BEFORE I happened to get this new job; the job wasn't even on the cards the day of launch. xD It all happened at once, so the timing was just horrendously inconvenient. This was never meant to be how I ran it, desperately rushing to get out responses in the little free time I have and exhausting myself, so it's less an overestimation of my capabilities and more a frighteningly terrible case of poor timing. I hope you guys can continue to remain engaged even if there are few to no updates during most week days.

You're doing an incredible job and writing an incredible amount of prose, not to mention the organization (linkbacks in the first post are the best thing). I don't doubt your capabilities for a second.
Take the time you need -- but please give the crew a little leeway when getting back into the game. Fair chance it will affect momentum and everybody will need their friends to remind them to come back and post.

but yeah, nah. Real life comes first.

Aha, oh wow, thank you so much. It means a lot to hear that!
Yeah absolutely. I really hope we can keep the ball rolling because the last thing I want to do is be forced to put this on the back burner. I have actually had success writing a post or so in the car while commuting (I carpool with two others so I can just ignore them for 20 minutes lol) so I might try this, even if it helps me get out a post a day.

UGH unfortunately. xD But thank you for understanding. <33
