Comics! Pokemon fans! Rejoice!
If you are a fan of Pokemon and comics then you are in luck! Free Comic Book Day is coming up this Saturday, May 4th in the United States! And you can get your hands on some free Pokemon manga!
Free Comic Book Day takes part on the first Saturday of May. Several comic book stores will be hosting the event where they will be giving out free samples of several different publishers. Viz Media will be taking part by releasing a special preview for the “Pokemon: I Choose You” manga and Pokemon Adventures.
Below is the summary for the free Pokemon sample that will be given out on Free Comic Book Day.
Two tales from the world of Pokémon! Pokémon: I Choose You!: When Ash Ketchum oversleeps on his 10th birthday, he ends up with a stubborn Pikachu instead of the first partner Pokémon he wanted! But after a rocky start, Ash and Pikachu become close friends and true partners-and when they catch a rare glimpse of the Legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh in flight, they make plans to seek it out together. Pokémon Adventures: Red doesn’t just want to train Pokémon, he wants to be their friend too. Bulbasaur and Poliwhirl seem game. But independent Pikachu won’t be so easy to win over!
