Players of the Pokemon TCG and video games will have a reason to visit Gamestop in the month of October.
Starting on October 13th, TCG players can go to Gamestop to pick up a two-pack blister that will contain a halo Gengar Spirit Link card. This card will be release in the upcoming TCG set, Phantom Forces. Gengar Spirit Link is an item card that can be attached to a Pokemon. If Gengar Spirit Link is attached to Gengar EX when it Mega Evolves into M Gengar EX then your turn does not end upon Mega Evolution. This card along with Phantom Forces will be officially released on November 13th. That means that Gengar Spirit Link is being release a month early!
Also available on October 13th will be the special event to download a Shiny Gengar holding the Gengarite item. This will allow Gengar to Mega Evolve into a shiny Mega Gengar. This Gengar will be at level 25 and know the moves: Shadow Ball, Confuse Ray, Astonish, and Sludge Wave. Sludge Wave is a move that Gengar can’t normally learn. This event will end on October 26th.
This October will be a spooky one with all the scary things you can get from Gamestop! So make sure you stop on by to get your Gengar! TCG, video games, or both!
