Get ready to see ultra in the Pokemon TCG!
It has been listed that Japan’s December TCG set will be called Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will be a double set that will feature over 78 cards each. That number isn’t including ultra rare cards that will be included in the set. This will be one of the biggest Japanese sets.
There has been no announcement of which Pokemon will be the featured Pokemon for this set. Based on the names of the sets and the video games, our best guess is that they will feature the altered forms of Solgaleo and Lunala.
The Awoken Hero and The Transdimensional Beast set will be release next week in Japan. This set will be release as Crimson Invasion in November for the United States. Japan will also see the release of GX Battle Boost on October 20th which is mostly a reprint set featuring Solgaleo GX, Lunala GX, Pheromosa GX, Xurkitree GX, and Celesteela GX. There is no word on how this set will be release in the United States.
Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon will be release in Japan on December 8th. This set will most likely be release in the United States in early 2018.
