Perhaps the most startling of the decryption was the reveal of a new Hoopa forme (pictured above). This forme has been dubbed Hoopa Hyperspace (Hoopa-H) by fans. Initially believed to be a Mega Evolution, this terrifying forme of Hoopa is activated by a currently unnamed Key Item. While Hoopa stands at 1’08” (0.5 m) and weighs a mere 19.8 lbs (9.0 kg), its new forme stands at an astonishing 21’04” (6.5 m), and weighs 1080.3 lbs (490.0 kg). Hyperspace Hoopa is as tall as Gyarados is long, and weighs more than a Snorlax!
When Hoopa changes forme, its base stat total (BST) increase by eighty (80), for a BST of 680. Hoopa’s base stats were 80/110/60/150/130/70, for a total of 600. Hyperspace Hoopa, however, has a 680 base stat total, with its base stats being 80/160/60/170/130/80. Along with an increase in base stats, Hyperspace Hoopa changes Hoopa’s secondary typing. Hoopa is normally a Psychic-/Ghost-type. However, in its new forme, Hoopa replaces its Ghost-typing with the Dark-type, becoming a Psychic-/Dark-type. When changing formes, Hoopa still retains its Magician Ability. Lastly, in its new forme, Hoopa can learn a move called Hyperspace Fury, which is a Dark-type move with 100 damage, 5 PP, and never misses.
Another major reveal was the base stats of all of the new Primal Reversions and Mega Evolutions. From Mega Beedrill to Mega Diancie, the base stats are quite astonishing. Take a look below (Pokemon are arranged in National Dex order)!

There seems to be no data for new Mega Evolutions in the demo, but this doesn’t mean that there won’t be any new Mega Evolutions in the final game.
