Two new legendaries are to appear soon in Pokémon GO!
Following the success at the Pokémon GO Fest, Lugia will now be appearing in legendary raid battles across the world in Pokémon GO for the next forty-eight hours. All GO Fest attendees will receive a Lugia as well. In addition, due to Team Mystic being the most successful team at the challenges, Articuno will be the next legendary to appear following Lugia.
The details of how these legendaries will work outside of raid battles is unclear at this time. However, we do know that they will not be allowed to be placed in gyms and they can be used to fight against gyms. So be sure to collect these rare legendaries while you can! It is unknown when they will become available again!
