Are you going to PAX Prime this year? Make sure to look out for the people wearing green scarves aka the Gym Leaders of the PAX Pokemon League! The PAX Pokemon League is structured to be like the Pokemon games: You walk around the convention hall as if you were walking around a region in the games. If you find one of the “Gym Leaders”, they’ll challenge you to a Pokemon battle using Pokemon X and Y. Once you collect the 8 Gym Badges, you can challenge their own Elite Four and try to defeat the Champion. Defeating the Champion will grant the winner prizes and will be commemorated into the Hall of Fame.
Much like the games, the Gym Leaders will have their teams based on types and themes. What happens if you don’t win against them? The Leaders can give out the badge if you win or lose. Be sure to be creative if your battles against them and you’re sure to win the badge. Make sure that you bring your copy of Pokemon X and Y if you go to PAX Prime and you’ll be able to challenge the PAX Pokemon League. Go for glory!
