Neo Emolga Masterpiece Mischief Ep16 28AUG2017 – 03SEP2017

Combining the wonders of art and silly nonsense reviews like pizza and nutella into one!

Realty used PROGRESSION OF TIME! SUMMER fainted!

Okay, I see a lot of people crying that summer is dying, but think of all the great things autumn brings! Cooler weather! Less bugs! Fewer sunburns! Football season! The hilarity of watching people go nuts for everything pumpkin-spiced!

You’d think pumpkin spice was some kind of drug addiction! “Kids, just say NO to pumpkin spice!”

Anyway, it’s showtime!

Pokemon Fusions 2017 by cat-meff

As utterly awesome as these are, they really do look way more like freakin’ World of Warcraft monsters than Pokémon! The kind that you’d need like a 40 man raid to spend hours trying to pull together only to wipe out at the last 10% of health left! Or disconnect at the last critical moment and find out your raid wins without you and you missed the grand finale. We’ve been there.

I love the Gourgeist + Hydreigon. I NEED the Grougeist + Hydreigon. It’s a freaking Halloween dragon! THIS IS AMAZING! I never thought of combining those two wonderful things (Goureigon?) and here it is like the never-ending pizza made of smores you always wanted! See, I could totally strap on a cosplay like that and keep it on for a week with no shame. Sure, most people wouldn’t know what the heck I’m going as or why I’m going to work like that, but it’s freaking delightfully ferocious anyway!

Litwick [ Pokemon ] by candlewiick

There are two camps of people. People who think Litwick is hyper sugar-cute and the other who just think it’s creepy and they wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole attached to another ten foot pole that even comes with an insurance policy and endless consolation prizes of all the Cream of Wheat they could ever want (for me it’s zero). I’m more on the “it’s kind of a cute lil’ bugger” camp.

And this is a great persuasive piece of art on the “cute lil bugger” side. Lots of fun colors, cheerful grin, chalk-like charm, and other fun bits. Everything you need for a happy, homely haunting! It’s the kind of Pokémon where if it were to steal everything in your sock drawer and clog your toilet with it before eating all your Pop Tarts, you still wouldn’t be mad.

Pokemon Reimagined: Mamoswine by ShadeofShinon

Sure, Mamoswine isn’t the most popular Pokémon out there. You’re not going to see Mamoswine plushies just pouring off the shelves onto every kid’s Christmas wish list and see every other anime convention cosplay be one of these big bad boys. But there’s still plenty to like about how bulky and hulky these guys are. Your favorite eighty-ton truck still wouldn’t want to try and slam into one of these head-on cruising down the freeway.

This lovely piece reimagines this crazy mammoth with lots of nice realism! You can even feel the temptation to give that big ol’ wooly coat a nice big rubbing much to its dislike! Or you can ride him all over the playground and trample over that fugly-butt snowman your neighbors made just because you can! Ah, the things we’d do if Pokémon were real!

Pokemon #403-404-405 by Cosmopoliturtle

This is what life looks like. The cute lil’ Shinx resembles our innocent, playful, childhood years. The goth Luxio is our sassy, weird, and obscure high school years, and the hulky, ready-to-snap and go nuts Luxray is what we’re like when we’re adults. And we love a good snapping.

You gotta love the art style of this one. It’s cartoony and does its own thing and doesn’t care about being precise. I want my Luxray to have funky swirly things going on, too! He looks like the kind of guy looks all beastly and stuff but is probably a big softie on the inside. Like he has a hidden love for doughnuts or loves watching Disney princess movies.

Stop That Hedgehog: Hokey-Pokemon by TRC-Tooniversity

There’s a special love for suddenly jumping in on comics mid-stream and trying to figure out what on earth happened to lead up to this. And I failed on this one.

Sonic is one of those franchises that started off really swell back in the Sega Genesis early days and I’ll admit I used to love it as a kid but then I walked away from it when it kind of died out. And then it kind of came back to life again. And then some other weird things happen. I’ll probably never go back to it, but it’s still around and has a weird kind of life on DeviantArt now even after many of the more recent games have been weird flops. Wouldn’t be the first time I’ve seen Sonic combined with Pokémon, though. It kinda works. Somewhat. But then it does weird things again.

And that concludes Episode 16! You made it this far! Smother a chocolate cupcake on your face and give it a nice coating of maple syrup just because you’re crazy and you can! It’s not the reward you were expecting, but it’s the reward you deserve!
