Lillie (Pokemon Sun/Moon) by Parororo
Everyone’s favorite bag-carrying gal and her trusty bath pouf companion that never wants to stay in that bag are back! So is Lillie saluting someone? Or is the sun doing that thing where it blasts in your eyes and you’re suddenly reminded of your blunders about leaving your sunglasses at home? I’m guessing it’s a salute, or Lillie so happy from living in the same world that has chocolate sundaes and less educational institution-focus that the sun thing isn’t making her wear that perpetual scowl that most people have when the sun is in their face.
Pokemon : Lana and Wishiwashi
Don’t mind me in that I’m not a big fan of Wishiwashi. During a Nuzlocke run, that thing up and MURDERED my poor Rufflet. And I was hoping to raise into a Braviary! You blasted fish. I’ve never had a Braviary before and I was looking forward to that! Next time I see you, I’m beer-battering you and your whole school into delicious fish fillets! The only companions you’ll have after that are the fries I’ll serve next to your fried remains!

It’s funny just how RANDOM these seem. Usually when people draw a batch of Pokémon, you’ll see plenty of Lycanroc or Mimikyu or Nebby again or an Eevee dropped here and there and again and again but there’s some here that never get featured! Like Trapinch, I mean how many times does THIS GUY get featured? And it goes to show that even if your set of colored pencils got lost, eaten by your dog, fell into a storm drain, eaten by your dog who fell into a storm drain and then got lost, you can still create great Pokémon drawings in black and white! Or shades of peach and pink to be exact!

This is a nice watercolor picture that proves you don’t need Photoshop and all its fancy-pants nonsense to make a great painting! And this one is nice and dreamy and feels like a relaxing place to be. Around a place like this, you’re not going to hear a car horn go off because you didn’t move within .1 milliseconds before the light turned green. Or be subject to someone’s horrible taste in music isn’t going to be blasting out of their car because they think they’re a virtual DJ and everyone wants to hear their second-hand rap!

Someone sure loves the color purple! But then again, Lana sure has a crazy love for that color blue she’s got all over her. Pokémon trainers are hilarious for that. You’ll have some fire Pokémon trainer and if they’re not wearing all red and orange, it’s like something is wrong in the space-time continuum. Or if you’re training grass types, boy, you’d better be wearing more green than the Hulk and have a flower bouquet on your head or there’s something really screwy with you!
It’s a different take on how Pokémon actually come out of the ball and emerge from such tightly-compacted enclosures. I wonder what that feels like. Does it give that same relief that taking off a pair of skinny jeans at the end of the day gives? Heck, it’s no wonder Pokémon aren’t too crazy about being stuffed into Pokéballs.
We’ve reached the end, beautiful friends! Enjoy a happy and healthy Christmas season of putting your credit card into overdrive for other people’s gifts! But smile in knowing that others are doing the same for you! Muah ha ha ha! Isn’t this lovely season just great?
