Talk of a new mobile game has Pokemon GO fans worried.
Last week, Niantic announced that they will be releasing a Harry Potter mobile game. The game will be called Harry Potter: Wizards Unit. Though this news has made Pokemon GO players concern.
Pokemon GO players took social media to state their thoughts on another game being worked on by Niantic. Some even stated that this would mean less resources and updates to Pokemon GO. Well, Niantic has made an announcement concerning player’s concern.
Below is what Niantic had to say:
Just like many of you, we’re super excited about Harry Potter: Wizards Unite and are working hard with our partners at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and WB Games San Francisco’s development team to bring that to life. However, we–the Pokémon GO development team–want to say that we are 100% committed to creating an ever-changing and growing game that gets our players exploring, meeting each other, and deepening their connection to the Pokémon universe.
Niantic even promise that 2018 will bring even more amazing features for players. They even stated that an update is coming to Pokemon GO this coming week.
Expect some big things from Pokemon GO as Niantic expands.
