Get ready to bring down the thunder!
The name for the November TCG set has been revealed to be called Lost Thunder! This set will be based on Japan’s Explosive Impact set and Thunderclap Spark mini set.
Below is the set description.
Travel to the forested hills, where the fragrance of incense from ancient shrines and the sparks of high-voltage Pokémon fill the air! The Sun & Moon—Lost Thunder expansion fuses the new with the traditional, featuring Celebi and Ditto, plus Blacephalon-GX, Lugia-GX, Tyranitar-GX, and the newest Mythical Pokémon, Zeraora-GX! Call down the big thunder and charge up your deck with the high-powered Pokémon in the Sun & Moon—Lost Thunder expansion!
You can expect to see some huge players in this set such as Lugia GX, Tyrantar GX, Blacephalon GX and Zeraora GX! Clearly this set is going to be focus on Zeraora due to ‘Thunder’ being in the name of the set. Meanwhile, we will be seeing some callbacks to Johto with the likes of Lugia and Tyrantar. It sounds like our Prism Star Pokemon will be Celebi and Ditto. Ditto is the first non-Mythical or Legendary Pokemon to become a Prism Star.
This set will surely bring plenty of new power to the Lighting type within the TCG. Get ready for a jolt of power if you are a fan of Lighting based Pokemon.
Currently Celestial Storm Prereleases are happening. Celestial Storm will be release on 3rd in the US and will be legal for Worlds.
Explosive Impact will be release in Japan on September 7th. Lost Thunder will be release in the US on November 2nd.
