Dogasu’s Backpack has reported that the thirteenth chapter of the Pokemon Adventures manga series, also known as Pokemon Special in Japan, will be released starting January 6th, 2015. This new saga will be release online though Club Sunday.
This saga of the Pokemon Adventures series will feature the return of the Hoenn Pokedex Holder: Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. A new danger threatens the Hoenn region and it is up to them to stop it. Below is a translated summary.
Danger is approaching the Houen Region! The three Zukan Holders Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald have been summoned by Daigo to undergo emergency training. While Daigo works to decipher the mural painted deep within the Stone Cave in Muro Town, the three Zukan Holders aim to acquire the ability of Mega Evolution!! The legendary blade reappears on the land, in the sea, and in the air! The long-awaited new chapter will come straight to you at the beginning of each month as Pocket Monsters Special’s very first web serialization!!
Released along with this news was an eighteen page prologue chapter that features Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. This chapter has Ruby and Sapphire wearing their video game counterparts new clothing while giving Emerald new clothes to go along with the new chapter.
