Pikachu is going to be big in raids!
That is because you can now find Gigantamax Pikachu in Max Raid Battles! This huge Pikachu has taken over the raids after the Best of VGC Pokemon.
You can now spot Gigantamax Pikachu in raids. During this Max Raid Event, you can now spot Pikachu with their Hidden Ability, Lightning Rod. You may even be lucky to find Gigantamax Pikachu that is shiny. Prior to this event, Gigantamax Pikachu could not be found as a Shiny or with their Hidden Ability.
UPDATE: End dates for the Gigantamax Pikachu has been revealed. Also, we have receive news that Gigantamax Eevee and Gigantamax Meowth will be coming to Max Raid Battles. Below are the dates for each.
- Gigantamax Pikachu: May 11th to 18th
- Gigantamax Eevee: May 19th to 25th
- Gigantamax Meowth: May 26th to June 1st
