On Saturday, November 8, a parade of ‘Pikachu’ marched up and down the streets of Seoul, in celebration of the first Korean pro-gamer to win the Pokemon Video Game World Championship.
In addition, similar to Pokemon Day, held in Yokohama, Japan in early August, Seoul will be host to a two-day Pokemon Champions Day event, held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza through November 15 & 16. The highlight of the event? A ‘Pikachu Show Time,’ a live performance by Pikachu mascots. After the break, we’ve got a video featuring the Pikachu dance performance at Yokohama.
