Podcast Central: Spring Breakout!

Podcast Central
It is Spring Break which means plenty of time to listen to some podcasts!

Sometimes school and work can take a lot of time. It keeps you away from video games, reading and simply listening to some great podcasts. Good thing it is now Spring Break which means you have plenty of time to do all those things. If you are like me then you were busy working on some much needed things but also listened to some podcasts while doing those things. It is amazing at how many podcasts you can listen to when you have a few spare hours during the day.

Though maybe I should have used this time to transfer my Generation 6 Pokemon up to Generation 7. I guess that is what Summer Vacation is for.

First up on the podcast docket is the return of an old podcast! Pokedex Radio is back along with Austin. This podcaster is podcasting solo and in this episode Austin is explaining where he has been and where he wants to take the podcast. It is a simple and short episode where Austin talks about Pokemon Day, the Switch and how the fanbase has grown over the last few years. So give this return a listen!

If you want something that is live before a studio audience then check out this week’s PKMNcast as SBJ and his crew hit up PAX! They took live questions from the audience and learn that people really wanted to hear which Pokemon is the most hated. You also get to hear from Will as he states that Generation 5 is the best generation. Make sure to stay till the end to see what this year’s PAX audience picked out as their favorite Water type Pokemon.

If you want more live goodness then check out PTCG Radio as Ross has some guests over! These guest are none other then Joe Bernard And David Hochmann! Both of these gentlemen helped cast Sheffield Regionals with Ross and gave their thoughts on the tournament. These three wise TCG kings talk about the tournament and which decks should be watched out for. Especially where their is a court of owls that is trying to put their talons around the metagame. A podcast episode well worth listening for all these wise words!

If you want some live table top Pokemon then get ready for this episode of Pokemon Rollout! Our band of trainers enter a Triathlon with one too many Magikarp. How will our band of trainers handle this with such a floppy fish? Will a simple punching of a jerk be enough to win against all odds? Find out the answers to these questions by listening to this podcast!

Pikapi Podcast is back to following Ash! Anne talks about an episode where we finally get to see a little of Ash and May’s interaction with each other. We get to hear about how Ash is now the experienced trainer as he is teaching May the ropes to being a trainer. It is a good look at how Ash has changed during his travels. Especially now that we have somebody else to use a Pokedex. So give this episode a listen!

The P.U.C.L. Podcast had a get-together as some of their council came to Thatch’s house. They talk about playing Switch for way too long and things they wish Pokemon brought back. It involved more then something that was used during a certain Generation 4 remake game. Also, stay for the mailbag section to hear a certain email from a certain person who write about podcasts. It is well worth a listen.

Lastly, we have The Dex! Podcast where they talk about a recent invitational. The Dex! Crew tackle the question about does a Shiny Hunter deserves to be in the same tournament with veteran TCG players. This leads to a great discussion. Take a listen to this episode to see what their thoughts are on this topic.

Don’t touch that Totodile! It is time to listen to some podcasts!
