Pokemon : Braixen by Sa-Dui
Welcome to another PXR art update from deviantArt. We start off tonight with this popular digital art piece by Sa-Dui. This nice use of orange on the character and in the background mixed with the blue really make this stand out. A crisp, yet watercolor-esce touch to the entire piece make this a wonderful drawing, with attention to detail like the character’s right shoe (on the left), with a Pokeball print on the sole. The Gijinka (Pokemon in Human Form) is very interesting!

Mareep and Togepi Collar Necklace by CharmingSushi via Etsy
I saw these necklaces being advertised on deviantArt and followed CharmingSushi to Etsy, where I found a great set of pieces, of ‘upcycling’ old cards into cute necklaces! These are very cute, though I don’t know if I would wear these myself as much as purchase one (I’m tempted… really tempted). These are fun little pieces for the great impulse buy price of approximately $10. I also love that Etsy gifts are nearly one of a kind, so you don’t have to worry about your significant other being copied by his or her rival (Take that Gary, you can’t copy Ash’s Pikachu heart choker…). Mega Loving Mum by Hirupuri
Time for your weekly ‘awwwwww’ section! This is just super cute. The concept is amazing. Though Charizard (or Mega Charizard) ceased to be cute in Pokemon by being a jerk to Ash. That aside, this is an amazing piece that I think will spawn a cute new section on deviantArt. What’s not to like about this? Great concept!

Lastly, we end with sleeping Pokemon. This piece combines the best of both worlds. Sleeping Pokemon and Bulbasaur! A sleeping Mewtwo just isn’t as cute as a sleeping Bulbasaur. I love the traditional hand drawn work here, making the strokes that really matter. On that note, it’s time for a little sleep.
