Community Day is back! Just in time for April!
Pokemon GO has just announced that they will be hosting Community Day for the month of April. This Community Day will be the rescheduled Community Day for March that will feature Abra.
Community Day for April will be held on April 25th from 11AM to 5PM in your respected timezone. During this time you will be able to see plenty of Abra to capture with the opportunity to find Shiny Abra. If you evolve Kadabra into Alakazam then it will learn the new fast move, Counter.
Bonuses for this event include three hour Incense and 3x Catch Stardust.
Thoughts
One of the few things to note is that this time for Community Day is longer then normal Community Day time. Perhaps this is to help give players the chance to catch as many Abra as they can from their home. Another change worth noting is that there will be three hour Incense instead of Lures. That way you do not feel the need to go to a park where Pokemon can normally be found in huge numbers.
It is a little concerning that Community Day is being held seeing that most place around the world is still practicing some form of Social Distancing up until May. Hopefully the longer Community Day hours and three hour Incense will help keep players at home instead of coming together at the park.
